Site Preparation Day is on 5/23/26. The focus is on "building the floor" of the forest. This involves heavy-duty soil amendment, augering, and spreading thick layers of mulch to ensure our future trees have the nutrient-rich environment they need to thrive.
Planting Day is on 9/19/26. We will be planting hundreds of native saplings and shrubs in our prepared site. Volunteers will help tuck these young trees into their new home, following the dense Miyawaki spacing patterns.
