11	Read Me A fundmental change is happening at UMD starting September 16, 2019. UMD majors which have requirements that must be completed prior to being admitted to the major, are admitted to a "PRE" major and their APAS report will provide information about University and Campus requirements, Liberal Education Requirements and what courses grades and actions are needed by the student to be admitted to the academic degree program. The CODE used will look like this 1234PRE41, 1234PRE50, etc. Some UMD programs will have 3 variations of each of their majors (not including subplans/tracks/concentrations, etc) (1) "Pre" major, (2) "All Degree Requirements for the Major", and (3) "Major Only" to be used in which a student declares a 2nd or a major in additional to their primary major and we need APAS to calcaluate both toward the total required.
