My Economic Dashboard: A Wealth-Building Tracker
3
Your personal window into the economic climate — a simple monthly snapshot of the numbers that shape the value of your money, your assets, and your future wealth.
4
5
Step 1 — Review your economic indicators Below you will find a template showing the key economic indicators worth tracking. Feel free to add or remove columns to suit your own life and portfolio.
6
7
Step 2 — Fill in your data every month Set aside twenty minutes at the start of each month and record the latest figures. Over time this becomes one of the most powerful documents you own: a record of the world as you lived through it.
8
9
Step 3 — Use the Sources tab The Sources tab tells you exactly where to find each data point and how often it is updated. All sources are free and take only minutes to check.
10
11
Step 4 — Evaluate how things are evolving Look across the rows, not just down them. How is inflation moving relative to interest rates? What is the gilt yield telling you about mortgage costs?
12
What does the VIX say about market mood? This is where the tracker earns its place.
