ES Seminar - Spring 2026
2
Please consider nominating a speaker you would like to see in our ES Seminar series for the Spring of 2026. We are particularly looking for speakers who will be of broad interest to the ES community. When reaching out to speakers, please communicate the breadth of our interests in ES so they can target their talks appropriately.

If potential nominations is more than one for a day, the organizers will choose the speakers ensuring a balance of topics and other broad interests for ES.

https://www.agroecologylab.com kltully@umd.edu
Dr. Tully works on agroecology from a wide array of perspectives (soil health, hydrology, urban agriculture, etc.). She specfically has done work on saltwater intrusion in agriculture which is of big need in California in the delta region, and as far as I know, no research on saltwater intrusion in agriculture is done currently at UC Merced.
Dr. Tully studies a topic not covered at UCM, but also spans many geopgrahic regions, from DC, to rural Maryland, to Sub Saharan African agriculture.
