With our repeating 3 yr value-based scope and sequence cycle, our hope is that any student/child can enter the Emerging Generations Ministries and have a consistent experience. Our 15 concepts reflect Meetinghouse Church's 5 values and allow for the EG staff to facilitate and teach in flexible ways that are relevant within the current times AND emphasize each leader's strengths (can be theological, can be more interactive, can bring in other fields, Biblical, etc.); Overall we have a mantra within our ministry spaces of 'do no harm'. Any imprints (both explicit & implicit) students/children receive from the EG team and ministry spaces are meant to foster safety, belonging, and love. Imprints include, but are not limited to: inclusivity around race, language, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental ability, political beliefs, neighborhood, economic or marital status and faith background.
