RegistrationWhat is the ticket cancellation policy?100% refund through Aug 1st, 2017.
50% refund through Sept 4th, 2017.
Refunds will not be accepted after Sept 4th, 2017.Please note that it may take up to 60 days to process the refund.

RegistrationWho can register?Korean adoptees, transracial adoptees, family, friends, and supporters of the community

RegistrationAre there student discounts?Unfortunately, we are not able to offer student discounts to this event

RegistrationWhat type of credit cards are accepted for payments?The following international credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB

AccessibilityWhat level of accessibilty will be present at each event?Due to maintainence work at the Hotel Kabuki, the conference sessions may have limited wheelchair accessibility. Please contact us if you have questions about accessibility. Please refrain from wearing heavily scented products, perfumes, and colognes to be mindful of those with chemical allergies.

Hotel RegistrationWhat is the hotel cancellation policy?You can cancel your reservation up to 72 hours from arrival day without a charge fee.

Please let us know if you will need to cancel your the hotel reservation with the Hotel Kabuki. AKA-SF is responsible for filling all hotel rooms that were reserved for the conference regardless of if these rooms were cancelled or not.

Food OptionsDo you provide custom options for those with dietary restrictions?Yes, we will provide gluten-free and vegitarian options for those with dietary restrictions. Dietary restrictions will be taken in consideration for the Welcome Event Social, Saturday Lunch, Gala Dinner, and Sunday Picnic.

Gala DinnerWhat should I wear to the Gala Dinner?Semi-formal / Cocktail attire is requested. Business attire and Hanboks welcome as well.
The reception starts at 6pm, this is 1.5 hours after the last session ends.

San FranciscoIn San Francisco, how old must I be to enter a bar?In the U.S., you must be 21 years old to drink alcoholic beverages. Bars and clubs that check IDs at the door will not allow you in if you are under 21. If the bar is also a restaurant, you will be welcome to eat there, but you will not be served alcoholic beverages.

San FranciscoWhat are my options for getting around the city?The easiest way to get around SF is mobile ridesharing apps like uber and lyft. It is highly recommended to download one of these apps prior to visiting San Francisco. You can easily search for them in the app store.

San FranciscoCredit/Debit Cards vs CashAlthough most places (restaurants, stores, bars, etc...) accept cash (USD), major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo, you may find a place here and there that only accepts: 1) cash for souvenir shopping, 2) Visa / Mastercard at some establishments (no AmEx), 3) Cash at certain restaurants/bars

Other AccommodationsShould I book an Airbnb?Airbnbs are commonly used for accomodation in San Francisco. If you are intersted in booking an Airbnb, you should use best practices like booking early, seeking well reviewed places, and communicating with the host to help mitigate risks.
