Seven years.Eight years.
I don't know, probably Tapastic, my numbers are too low to gauge. Instagram has been okay.
Tweet regularly, share things I'm interested in, share some art, talk about my work and the works of others, try to be encouraging.
A chance to keep my work going while getting insight into my work. I used to do regular Patreon newsletters but stopped for awhile. May try again.
About 250 on Tumblr, but that number feels inflated. 364 on Twitter.

Right now, Early pages, and a monthly postcard.
Webcomic
Webcomics I started back in I think June of last year, but didn't really get into it until August. I used to do livestreams occasionally as well and those span pretty far back. It had to have been in 2006-2007.
oof, Probably 2004 or 2005?? I've hopped from audience to audience, but I've always held a pretty public presence with each community I've entered.
Definitely online, specifically on Tapastic (although I think I may have more readers on my website than I realize). I'm hoping to start building more of a con presence as soon as I have the means to pay for it (currently in the middle of jobhunting).
I try to respond to as many comments as I can, and am also planning on launching a newsletter before the summer ends where I'm hoping to get to know some of my readers a little better. I'm currently taking a class on how to successfully do that.
A mix. I think I have more casual online friends supporting, but 1 close online friend and my dad are supporting more dollarwise
Early pages, a dedication on updates, a monthly postcard, etc. Oh right I'm trying to post sketches and concept stuff occasionally as well.
3-6 hours
Twitter: 222, Tumblr: 1468. DA: Not sure, but somewhere between 500-1000 I think, Instagram: probably 10 or so, I only just created it and I haven't used it too much yet.
I honestly don't know what the average is at the moment. I recently got a feature on Tapastic so my results everywhere have been really scewed to look like somewhere in the 800's-1000's, but before that it kinda fluctuated between 100-500.

It changes depending on where I am. When I was away, I did mainly art tutorials, but that was not my main purpose. Now that I am home, I tend to do workshops, demonstrations, and talks. I also teach.
This began in University, so 2006 and after; I moved for a few years and pretty much came back unrecognizable however. Three years later I have finally gained some traction with digital art, comics, and illustration in general.
I reach them via the net. A lot seem to be in North America (USA, Canada)

This changes all the time. I have been swapping out rewards (I do this when no one is pledged to it) in order to try something that works better for me and hopefully is what people want. A year ago I added the short-story tier and it has slowly gained traction; I added a special sketch tier earlier this year and it has promise. I think a lot of this is just working out what people would like to see from me and my comic.

Twitter: 1200, tumblr -- that's sad, like 300. I don't use it much, though. My FB is climbing slowly, but it only has around 100. Twitter is definitely my place.

There's not much that I can offer more, because a lot of what I do is for free. So my Patreon is about little perks (like sneak peeks and early chapters), but mostly about supporting me to allow me to write as a living. The only real additional incentives would be that I put polls for Patrons only to tell me what to work on during the month (outside of the main novel), and so my Patrons can decide this way what they want to see during a given month.

10+ (current comic 6 years)
I've been building a presence/audience gradually over 10 years or so
I have a lower level of engagement with my audience than most of my peers, outside of general social media use I'm pretty quiet (I have a fairly demanding day job and also am a shy person)
Casual online friends, Mainly strangers
I started offering illustrations to give this audience something more unique/exclusive than just the comic updates

I've been posting webcomics and art online off and on since 2004, so for 13 years. I have been streaming more regularly for about a year.
Since about 2004, so for about 13 years.
Twitter, Facebook, and Tapas.
I try to respond to each comment I get on Twitter, on my comic on Tapas, and on Facebook. I also try to reach out to other creators and show my support of their work verbally since I don't have the means to do so financially.
Online friends- but close online friends, Casual online friends, With By the Blade on Tapas I have seen an increase in support from strangers regarding my writing and webcomic. Verbally and financially the bulk of support for my projects comes from online friends as I don't have many friends near by (the ones I do have are supportive when I see them!) and my family while supportive seems to have a different idea of what I should write than what I want to write.
Exclusive behind the scenes pencils and sketches. Early access to new pages of my webcomic. An entire first draft of a novel unrelated to my novel on Tapas. A bunch of short stories I wrote when my arm was bad and I was unable to create any thing else.

I'm not sure.
Generally, I don't. My fulltime job takes a lot of my time and I haven't really figured out a way to get my audience to respond to me. They're mostly lurkers apparently.
