GAP Phylogenomics EOI STAGE 1

Instructions:
4
1. If you wish to develop an Expression of Interest (EOI) proposal, please contact the Project Manager, Mabel Lum (mlum@bioplatforms.com, Tel: 0435 387 007) who will create a spreadsheet for your team.
Spreadsheets are locked and can only be edited by the owning team, however all details are visible, by default, to all teams.
If your team wishes to remain anonymous, please discuss with the Project Manager.
5
2. On your team's spreadsheet, indicate in column E which genera you wish to provide material for, and complete the corresponding information cells for that genus (columns F to P).
In deciding which genera you would like to contribute, please refer to column E on this master sheet which indicates whether another team(s) is intending to contribute that genus.
If so, please contact the Project Manager who may be able to facilitate negotiation between teams toward an efficient division of target genera prior to submitting an EOI.
The taxon list is locked and cannot be edited.
If you wish to make suggestions for additional taxa, please list them at the end of the spreadsheet, from row 2097 onwards, and complete all the corresponding information cells for that genus (columns F to P).

6
3. Genus names are organised alphabetically by family.
All native vascular genera (per the Australian Plant Census) are included on the list, however some genera have been or will be completed by other projects and are hence excluded from this EOI.
These genera are coloured brown.
For the remaining included genera, priority is colour coded: low (gold) for genera completed by PAFTOL but with a non-Australian species; and high (green) for genera not yet sequenced at all.
Please do not edit any information in columns A-D.
If you need a specific facet of the data (such as a filtered list of genera per state or territory), please contact the Project Manager or make a copy of your team's spreadsheet and work on it offline.
Once you have finalised your cell entries offline, paste the information back into the relevant cells in your team's spreadsheet in the online version.

7
4. Once your spreadsheet is finalised and you are ready to submit your EOI, complete the EOI form and submit it to the Project Manager Mabel Lum (mlum@bioplatforms.com).
Deadline: COB Friday, 13th March 2020.

8
5. Please note: We cannot accept plant samples that are not compliant with the Nagoya Protocol.
All plant samples must be vouchered by a specimen identified to species level that is accessioned in a public herbarium.
We cannot accept plant samples that are not vouchered (no exceptions).
