LinkedIn- Clean and intuitive interface, organizes information into relevant subsections ina way that doesn't feel cluttered on the page- Could use more color and icons, feels profesisonal but could use more of a voice
- Fits in a lot of information into one site, such as giving salary information, application tips, etc.
- Pretty standard use of language and tone
- Professional and easy to understand
- Functions like a social media page, which is inviting for future employees to learn more about a company
- color scheme is on brand and easy on the eyes
- text is has good contrast and content heirarchy feels balanced
- icons all have text to support it
- section dividers are clearly illustrated
- does not feel cluttered
- Very clear navigation, easy for user to switch between tasks
- Easy to find who you are looking for, great that you can leave a note explaining who you are when connecting with someone
- Layout when searching for a specific title/name is very clear and intutive, but could show the user mroe information about them withotu clicking to their full profile

Handshake- On the home page you are prompted to respond to messages that were sent to you that you haven't responded to yet
- Search feature allows you to personalize which positions you are looking into, from style of work to location and experience
- Allows you to save jobs to apply to later and message people who have had the position before
- You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of a job listing to see if you qualify for the employer's needs
- Prompts you to apply through the employer's own portal, which oftentimes forces you to enter in all of your information again rather than using your resume to fill in the gaps
- More informal tone
- Professional and easy to understand
- Information dense, images are user uploaded
- Could have better hierachy of text and fonts that are more distinguishable, homepage feels cluttered because of this
- Color could be better used ot differentiate sections on a page
- Intuitive user flow, not difficult to navigate to a given task
- Quick apply feature saves time and energy of person applying
- Should require more information from employer, for instance some posts don't have salary information or start dates
6
Upwork- Very relevant information on homepage, feels informative rather than overhwhelming
- Simple to find positions/hires for a specific field, gives ratings and allows hire to share their work and portfolio straight from the initial search
- Showing ratings could also negatively impact new hires who haven't interacted with employers on the platform before
- All images and text are a bit too large, forcing the user to scroll a lot to view content
- Professional but light hearted
- Backed by trusted companies and review
- Too much content is packed into every page, they shoudl integrate horizontal rather than just vertical scroll
- content all feels a bit too crammed, needs more space to breath
- smaller text needed
- dividing sections are clear at a glance
- Navigation is overwhelming, descriptions under subsections add unnecesary clutter- Should be an option for employers to see those who are new to the platform before viewing those who have been using it for awhile (and may get clients by referral rather than search) instead of just showing top rated

Glassdoor- Allows you to apply externally from the site
- Sorts reviews into positive and negative
- Forces user to create an account and login to access content
- Not every company has the same amount of content because it is user generated
- Professional but light hearted, fun illustrations
- Informative, provides a lot of statistics but not in a way that is overwhelming
- Content is sectioned well, illustrations break up text
- Great hierachy of text
- Site has intuitive flow, user can navigate from section to section with ease
- Jobs can be saved for later to apply or review
- Companies should be prompted to provide more information about themselves and the role they are hiring for before the user is prompted to apply. All companies have varying descriptions
- Positions don't show if the applicant qualifies for a job or important details like start date, this site is more so used to show salaries and to leave a reveiw about your experience
