PURPOSE: To confirm that the horse demonstrates correct basics, and having achieved the thrust required in First Level, now accepts more weight on the hindquarters (collection); moves with an uphill tendency, especially in the medium gaits; and is reliably on the bit. A greater degree of straightness, bending, suppleness, throughness, balance and self-carriage is required than at First LevelRIDER #6125

What a lovely horse! I think you can do everything... but you must get him active.. collection requires IMPULSION and engagement! POwer is your friend for a steady connection.. collection is RPM's not SLOW. sitting trot required.. and you must be RELIABLY on the bit.. For taping if you are not using the center of your ring then please give the judge a markler or letter A to judge off / against for reference .You can do this.. get some power and keep on the bit! concering the sitting trot: Reference Rule DR104.5.
