Day 1 of Event - recieved alert that water plant was not working - goes into STANDBY. Drove to water plant. Upper Plant water basins were below the wiers and not feeding the plant the volume of water to meet demand. Water pressure in the system was dropping - we realized we would lose water.

Calls around to find a pump large enough to pump from river to basins. Found one in Portland and was delivered at midnight. A secondary location for providing water to the water plant and clear well.

Orwarn was called - no response. We had to move forward so rented the pump from Portland.

Contacted pervious operators to find their ideas and locations of past problems with the intake pipe. Their experience lead us to clearing a path to Prather Creek to be able to pump water and get the system back up and running while we worked on finding the plug. that allowed us to have water suppling water to the plant to get back up and running asap. annual clearing of road to Prather Creek (landscape and gravel) - new gate in fence to Prather Creek - secondary location for pumping water from creek to basins (plug and play) -

Drained the mixing chambers, then inspected the shut off valve for the mixing chambers and emtptied the line from the dam to the mixing stationprocedure to exercise all valves 2x per year -- SOP for cleaning mixing chambers

Used decommissioned pipe (still had a valve) to flush from mixing chambers back to the blow-off.SAFETY - walkway grates - many have been stolen and we need to replace them to walk safely around the basins to complete needed procedures

Reopened intake for mixing chambers and tried to refill - could not fill as there was still a plug. Tried this several time.
