There are many option which could be explore involving keeping riding and changing the rules to be more compatible with what the IOC would like: more cost effective and safer. These should be investigated and trialed before changing the entire sport. The Sydney olympics where an example of how the riding disciple didn’t have to cost extortionate amount. There are many options which save the sport of this Olympics and many to follow.
