6/2/2018 14:51:37We did planned to stay at Keenes Motor Lodge on mile marker 54 of section 2 but it looks like it has been sold, changed name and I believe it is NOT worth staying there any longer. We stretched the day a bit more and stayed at the Country Squire Inn. Good place with its own restaurant and winery. Good food and fair prices. As Kevin says mostly paved roads with a short stint on gravel just as appetizer :-)Gianz

On Google Maps it shows up as 1123 just south of Trenton on 58.
You miss the Mill pond and the town but it is a good dirt road that is public and keeps you off asphalt, without adding any extra distance to the section.		Also i have a piece of property in Pollocksville that is on the Trent River.
It is only about a 1/4 mile off the route.
Do you think there is a good way to let Riders know they can stay there as the gate stays locked but if i knew someone wanted to camp there they could and i could leave the gate opened.
Just not sure how they would contact me. Any thoughts		Cannoballs

All pavement section. Some very pretty winding country roads though. Plenty of services along the way
