Manage your money like a fucking grownup.

3
Why hello there, you gorgeous human!
4
5
This is the money dashboard companion to the book, Manage Your Money Like a Fucking Grownup. It's designed to be used with the book.
6
7
To use this worksheet, you need to click File in the top-left there, then Make a copy... Then you'll have your own copy of this worksheet and you can fill it with your own data. It will be private to you when you do this, unless you choose to share it with someone else.
8
9
The first three black sections are to help you when you're getting your shit together. Start by filling these in now. You'll probably only need to update these occassionally, when you're doing The Account Shuffle.
10
11
The next three red sections are what you'll update every month when you do the Big Monthly Money Review.
12
13
The dashboard will try to calculate stuff for you. In general, don't overwrite any cells that are filled in grey, or you'll break the formulae.
14
Start off by filling in all the cells in yellow.

Let's get started!
24
Account list
25
- Fill in all the white cells as best you can.
26
- Link all of these accounts in your money tracker app
27
- If you want to calculate your asset allocation (howzit, more advanced readers!) there are instructions at the bottom of that sheet
28
29
Insurance list
30
- Fill in everything on this sheet that you can - it doesn't really do anything, just helps you keep track of what insurance you have
31
32
Categorisation
33
- Choose what day your "money month" starts on and set this up in your money tracker app
34
- Figure out what categories you want to sort your money into, I've given you some examples in this sheet, but create one that works for you
35
- Set up your categories in your money tracker app and categorise your spending into them
36
37
Monthly balance sheet
38
- Change the months at the top to reflect when you start tracking your money
39
- Type in your current balance for each account under this month
40
- This will calculate your net worth for you
41
42
Monthly spending
43
- Use this sheet for planning your budget for the month ahead, and also for keeping track of how you really spent your money
44
- Replace the spending groups and categories with your own categories
45
- Enter in data for the past months, as far back as you can/want to
46
- When you plan into the future, use italics to differentiate that from past (real) data
47
- This sheet will calculate your spending ratio, woohay!
48
49
Goals
50
- Use this sheet to keep track of how close you are to reaching your goals
51
- Remember that you want to focus on one goal at a time (except that you're always saving for retirement)
52
- There are some hints and suggestions in here, but most of this sheet is up to you to work out
