-Scholarship for promising young people overlooked by selection process.
-Only applies to certain schools based on where the student is from.
-Sees past the low SAT scores; POSSE takes care of them so that they stay in school
-Good retention; support of a "Posse" of about 10 students to collaborate and help students deal with the challenges of college		4-year, full-ride-Students must be nominated by school or community-based organization in 11th grade, but POSSE works with student to help them apply and prepare them for college-Overlooked applicants (low SATs)
