| 9JKL | 2 | I thought the premise has a lot of potential but the execution fails this comedy. I expected a bit more from Mark Feuerstein. (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | Couldn't even get half-way through it. (Luana | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| 9JKL | 4 | I honestly enjoyed the plot and the jokes way more than expected, but the fake laughter after every joke really killed it for me (Joey Hedrick | 6/9/2024) | 9-Jun-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | Can I give this a 0? No? Okay then, I guess it'll have to be a 1. Things that are more interesting/fun than watching 9JKL include eating dirt, watching paint dry, and watching literally any other show that's ever been made. If your kind of humorous television is watching a guy with no pants on say 'ever since I had that varicose vein removed from my testicle, I produce a lot more semen' in a great example of how not to act then this show is absolutely for you! In short though, the dialogue is horrendous, none of the characters are likable, and everyone involved in this show deserves better. (Abi Baker | 6/3/2024) | 3-Jun-2017 |
| 9JKL | 3 | A seasoned cast of comedic actors cannot save this aggressively stale sitcom that stacks clichés on top of clichés. (popcultureguy | 6/1/2024) | 1-Jun-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | I smiled at one visual gag. The rest? If it had even one believable character, any competent acting, or jokes that were actually funny, it might be good. (Bradley | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | I watched this for the sole purpose of seeing if it's as bad as everyone said. Good news: it's worse. This pilot is an amalgamation of not only everything wrong with CBS, but everything wrong with the world right now. The jokes are out of date, it's far too aggressive to be effective, and there's so many damn annoying white people with the one or two token people who are not that it just comes off as the biggest turnoff. I wish more than anything that I didn't click play on this...thing. (Laura Markus | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | Either the best or worst television show ever created. It's timeless, in that it would have worked quite well in 1955. The brief for every actor's performance seems to be 'Like no-one you've ever met'. Almost every character on the show is mildly insane, and possibly a danger to wider society. The only redeeming factor is the kid in the lobby with the mental age of 55. What's his story? Does he have a family? Does he have anything better to do? Does he even exist? I cannot understand why this show would be ordered, other than as a scientific experiment. (Louis Rabinowitz | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | However this made it to be CBS' star pilot is beyond me. Awful all the way around. Do yourselves a favor and watch "Me, Myself and I" instead. This doesn't deserve any fickle of your attention (Pablo Troncoso | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | Awful writing. Awful acting. Awful directing. All around Awful. If I could rate a '0', I would. (Tyler | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 2 | I didn't laugh once, which is normally a bad sign in something that's meant to be a comedy. None of the jokes worked and the laugh track only made it worse. Despite this decent cast, it's easily the weakest of what I've seen so far from CBS and really should have been so much better. Avoid this one. (Milo-MJ | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 2 | That was just bad. A very good competitor for the worst pilot of the year. (Babar | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | Wow. That was bad. (Prpleight | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 2 | So not funny, so bad. I don't even know why the hell CBS picked this up? (Bence | 5/27/2024) | 27-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 3 | Sad to see such a strong cast in such a dull show, not my type of comedy. (Marko Pekic | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 2 | Awful. That's the only way to describe this. The writing is stiff and the actors try to make something from it, but that would have taken a much bigger miracle than any of these performers could pull off. I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 rating because there were a couple jokes that at least got a smile out of me. This comedy falls flat and will likely be DOA. (Aimee Hicks | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| 9JKL | 1 | Just Awful (Andy | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| For The People | 9 | It's clearly a work in progress but I haven't been so excited about a new show in a while. I need more of this. (Luana | 9/19/2024) | 19-Sep-2017 |
| For The People | 7 | A typical but well put together legal drama. It has the usual Shondaland moments with good writing. I’m not sold on the long term prospects of the show, what will keep me staying week after week is my question. I saw the main friendship as a strong reminder of the one that used to be in Grey's Anatomy. It’s definitely better than Shondaland’s latest offerings, beyond the pilot, whose to say. (Nirat Anop | 8/7/2024) | 7-Aug-2017 |
| For The People | 4 | This pilot was much better than the trailer but that's not saying much. I don't think the show has anything to offer that HTGAWM doesn't. Most of the cast reminded me too much of the Keating 5. (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| For The People | 7 | It’s 100% early “Grey’s Anatomy” with lawyers, but I thought it was frothily enjoyable early “Grey’s Anatomy” with lawyers. (popcultureguy | 6/19/2024) | 19-Jun-2017 |
| For The People | 8 | I may have a Shonda bias, but I enjoyed the pilot. Reminds me of Grey's Anatomy in a court room. (Joey Hedrick | 6/10/2024) | 10-Jun-2017 |
| For The People | 7 | Has definitely potential, it does feel like Grey's Anatomy in a court room, but it's a bit slow and predictable for a pilot. (Romain Ossust | 6/8/2024) | 8-Jun-2017 |
| For The People | 4 | Did this show only get picked up because of the company producing it? Possibly (I'm leaning more towards probably). For The People suffers from generic dialogue and clunky acting. There are no standouts among the cast here, the characters are almost two-dimensional, and it just comes across as a bit bland. The two female leads are supposedly being recast, and if that doesn't spell trouble, then maybe the entire lack of cast chemistry and underwhelming depth of the storylines do. I definitely can't see this show lasting longer than a season. (Abi Baker | 6/2/2024) | 2-Jun-2017 |
| For The People | 6 | I'm not sure how I feel about this show. There were some parts that I really enjoyed, but some parts I could have done without especially the relationship drama. My favorite actor was Britne so it's disappointing that she was recast. This show could be good, but it needs some work. (Jessica VanWinkle | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| For The People | 10 | Sooo much more than I expected. Emotional, driven and great edgy characters. Shondaland at its best! (Marko Pekic | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| For The People | 5 | Just another typical legal drama which - to me, doesn't feel as if it differs much from the rest of them scattered around the networks. (Tyler | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| For The People | 5 | It's not a good sign when, half way through the episode, you have to stop and take a nap before resuming. That being said, "For The People" it's not an awful show: it has some strong moments, but they do get buried in a pile of boring ones. There is potential, I can see the sparks, but the fire hasn't be lit yet. (Pablo Troncoso | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| For The People | 9 | A very intriguing start with engaging characters and interesting cases. Excited to see more. (Raina | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Ghosted | 6 | The pilot for this comedic “The X-Files” is weighed down by premise setting, but the partner chemistry’s there with Craig Robinson and Adam Scott. (popcultureguy | 10/10/2024) | 10-Oct-2017 |
| Ghosted | 5 | Jokes are very hit or miss, but I'll definitely continue watching for Adam Scott and Craig Robinson (Joey hedrick | 9/7/2024) | 7-Sep-2017 |
| Ghosted | 5 | Sadly not as funny as I was hoping. Adam & Craig are great in their roles, and have wonderful chemistry with one another, I just wish the script was stronger to support them. Hopefully the show improves beyond the pilot because something was missing. (Nirat Anop | 8/7/2024) | 7-Aug-2017 |
| Ghosted | 3 | Very few laughs, it was pretty terrible. (Luana | 7/1/2024) | 1-Jul-2017 |
| Ghosted | 5 | Solid. Expectd less to be honest. Neat cliffhanger (Marko Pekic | 6/21/2024) | 21-Jun-2017 |
| Ghosted | 4 | I was hoping that its gonna be really great, but sadly its not. It was OK and I liked a few scenes, but I don''t think I'm gonna watch anymore episodes. But I liked the special effects, they were looking cool. (Bence | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| Ghosted | 5 | It was only okay. Could work in later episodes. if you liked Special Unit 2 this might be your cuppa tea. (Prpleight | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| InHumans | 7 | Better than I though, but it needs some work. (Luana | 9/19/2024) | 19-Sep-2017 |
| InHumans | 3 | Such a predictable, cliched story needs great characters to engage me and there just aren't enough interesting characters here. (Prpleight | 9/11/2024) | 11-Sep-2017 |
| Inhumans | 5 | It's a fun family show but probably not a show for "serious" comic TV fans. I enjoy the characters but the CGI in this pilot is off putting. (Jaz | 9/8/2024) | 8-Sep-2017 |
| Inhumans | 3 | Simply awful. I'm so disappointed since I generally love everything Marvel does. But this is absolutely terrible. The dialogue is atrocious. The fight sequences are shockingly choreographed. The sets (or more-so the obvious green-screen) aren't that crash hot either. It's only saving grace is Lockjaw who is adorable. As one of the few people that actually liked Iron Fist, I can easily say that this is Scott Buck's worst work yet. (Tyler | 9/8/2024) | 8-Sep-2017 |
| Inhumans | 3 | There was a lot of hope for this pilot and it did not live up to expectations. Not even a strong cast could breath life into the cringe worthy script they were given. There are some decent moments, but they are few and far between. For the most part this is a big miss for Marvel. There is still hope subsequent episodes can save the series, but the pilot is massively disappointing. (Aimee Hicks | 9/8/2024) | 8-Sep-2017 |
| LA to Vegas | 5 | Had some funny parts, but overall just ok. Interested to see how the concept will work moving forward. (Joey Hedrick | 9/7/2024) | 7-Sep-2017 |
| LA to Vegas | 7 | A lot better than I expected. (Babar | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| LA to Vegas | 7 | Had low expectations for this one going in, but it’s a light and fizzy laugher with more going for it than just Dylan McDermott’s moustache. (popcultureguy | 8/5/2024) | 5-Aug-2017 |
| LA to Vegas | 7 | This seems more like a binge watch comedy than something I'd watch week to week but it's still really funny. I never thought I'd see Peter Stormare and Dylan McDermott in a comedy but they're amazing! (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| LA to Vegas | 7 | Really liked it. Great cast, neat chemistry and some solid laughs. Dylan surprised me, think I've never seen him in a comedy. (Marko Pekic | 6/21/2024) | 21-Jun-2017 |
| LA to Vegas | 3 | Mostly just not my kind of humor. (Prpleight | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 7 | A warm-hearted sitcom that is somewhat reminiscent of “How I Met Your Mother” in structure and set up several nice relationships across its timelines. (popcultureguy | 9/4/2024) | 4-Sep-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 6 | It had a lot more heart than I was expecting, but not every period of the man's life is equally enjoyable. (Luana | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 8 | Easily CBS's best new comedy. Laughed from start to finish, and there's a lot of heart here, even if it is forced sometimes. (Joey Hedrick | 6/9/2024) | 9-Jun-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 8 | Surprisingly heartfelt. The timelines flow together well in a way I didn't expect. Curious as to how this story can be sustainable in the long run. (Nirat Anop | 6/6/2024) | 6-Jun-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 5 | Wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. Some comedic moments even if it isn't laugh out loud, and whilst I enjoyed the structure it's hard to know where exactly this is going & what story it's trying to tell. (Samantha Benjamin | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 7 | This show wasn't even on my radar but the pilot surprised me with how heartwarming and good it was. I agree that the longevity of the show might be questionable and a different format may have worked better for it, but it's a promising half hour dramedy. (Abi Baker | 6/3/2024) | 3-Jun-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 9 | My biggest surprise yet: so endearing, funny and witty, "Me, Myself and I" hits all the right beats and it deserves to be praised for ingenious and heartwarming storytelling, which is rare on the CBS comedy brand. (Pablo Troncoso | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 7 | Not at all what I was expecting. A light, feel-good start. I'm interested to see where the show goes. (Raina | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 8 | Not sure if this has lasting potential, but I really enjoyed this pilot and it's probably the best out of what I've watched so far. It's fun, has heart and comes recommended. (Milo-MJ | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 7 | A very heartwarming and feel good comedy. (Babar | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 8 | Very decent and heartwarming, the stepson - stepfather relationship is gold. (Marko Pekic | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| Me, Myself and I | 7 | A solid start, but the longevity of the series is questionable. This might have been much better as a movie, but we'll have to see what angle the writers go with to keep the series going. The pilot is funny when it needs to be and serious when it needs to be. This is a solid pilot and as long as the writers can figure out how to stretch out this premise they might have something. The series itself is much better than the trailer made it look. It's not perfect, but promising. (Aimee Hicks | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 8 | Fast-paced and very well executed - feels like a snippet of a war movie and you can already pick up on how relationships between the characters will grow during the season. (Emmaline Harvey (EH) | 8/7/2024) | 7-Aug-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 3 | I found it quite boring and all the military terms were quite confusing for me. There were a couple of scenes that made me cringe. (Babar | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 2 | Snooze fest. Don't bother. Honestly, I think this is going to raise doubts over whether David Boreanaz can get a role post Bones. Max Thieriot is probably the closest thing to charismatic on the show. Unless you're a gun nut that enjoys mindless patriotic action, i'd skip it. (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 8 | Much better than I expected. High production value, interesting characters, and some intriguing areas to be developed. Hopefully the series gets even better (Jimmy Ryan | 7/13/2024) | 13-Jul-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 7 | Decent procedural with plenty of action and heart. (Joey Hedrick | 6/9/2024) | 9-Jun-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 6 | This sturdy if unmemorable military drama was tailor-made for CBS, with solid performances by David Boreanaz and Jessica Paré. (popcultureguy | 6/2/2024) | 2-Jun-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 7 | Booth is back with a psychiatrist who is not Sweets, saving the day and disturbed by the loss of a friend. Typical military hero fare. (Dahne | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 7 | A genre I'm currently into. There was enough there to get me to determine if its a keeper. (Prpleight | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 6 | This is a typical CBS procedural. It is a good fit in terms of the tone of the series and the network it is on. With that said, the promo trailer gave everything away. The trailer leaves no room for any surprises making the pilot seem like a total letdown. There is potential, but there are also a ton of things that need to be fixed. Some of the characters feel flat and at times the plot lacks a cohesive tone to hold the story together. It's on CBS, so it'll likely do okay-ish in the ratings, but if it's going to carve out a place for itself and not rely completely on David's name alone then it has to really pick up its game in subsequent episodes. (Aimee Hicks | 5/28/2024) | 28-May-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 6 | I wanted to like this because of David Boreanaz, but he was the only interesting thing about this. I think it could have potential if you flesh out the characters and develop the relationship between Boreanaz and Max Thieriot's characters, but the show needs major work. (Jessica VanWinkle | 5/28/2024) | 28-May-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 3 | Paused and literally went to clean my bathroom midthrough. David and Max deserved better. (Marko Pekic | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| SEAL Team | 1 | From the trailer I suspected this show wouldn't be for me and I was right. Premise isn't anything new and whilst the cast might be decent enough, the stories been done a thousand times already. I know CBS like their generic action shows but if you're not bringing anything new to the table, maybe it's time to move on. (Samantha Benjamin | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 4 | It starts off slow but it got better the more they put in a more political stance. I don't know whether it's going to be a continued plot but I sure hope so. Shemar Moore is good in this despite my feeling he's a little typecasted in this. (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| SWAT | 5 | A paint-by-numbers CBS police procedural that’s competent if not exactly captivating and a reboot that doesn’t trigger any nostalgia in me. (popcultureguy | 7/25/2024) | 25-Jul-2017 |
| SWAT | 5 | Characters are good, but you must suspend an awful lot of disbelief to watch it. Not at all realistic, but has some entertainment value. (Jimmy Ryan | 7/5/2024) | 5-Jul-2017 |
| SWAT | 5 | Just another CBS procedural. Not bad, but offers nothing new. (Joey Hedrick | 6/9/2024) | 9-Jun-2017 |
| SWAT | 8 | Basically, this looked to me like what would happen if Derek Morgan from "Criminal Minds" took over a SWAT team upon leaving the BAU, but I mean that as a compliment. Shemar Moore brings the same sort of mix of commanding presence and thoughtful compassion to this show that I loved in his portrayal of Morgan, and I hope the show keeps its focus on the politics/topical side of things, because that's the part that kept me most invested. And I think there's some promise with the characters as well, a potential for a well-balanced "teamwork" sort of setup. If they can balance thoughtful, interesting storylines/characterization with "edge of your seat" action movie-style chase scenes, I think that'll be enough to keep this show on the schedule. (Angela | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| SWAT | 5 | From the moment Shemar Moore was cast I was going to be watching this show, but the pilot was disappointing. A little too heavy handed in places & Shemar's character is the only one really fleshed out. The show has potential though so it'll be interesting to see how things unfold. (Samantha Benjamin | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 7 | Derek from Criminal Minds is back again, but that Jim Street kid has to go. Decent reboot but nothing spectacular. (Dahne | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 5 | Didn't blow me away. Has potential. Good pairing with MacGyver and H50. (Prpleight | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 8 | Started a bit slow, but ended nicely. I liked all the action at the end, and Shemar Moore was amazing. I can definitely see potential with the other characters especially Kenny Johnson's character and the newest SWAT member. I will be tuning in. (Jessica VanWinkle | 5/28/2024) | 28-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 7 | Strong start. Nothing special though. It's a typical CBS procedural, but Shemar Moore is definitely ready to lead his own show and he does so brilliantly. There is some room for improvement. The episode suffers from the typical pilot mistakes of trying to cram to much story into a single episode. It's not a perfect episode, but there is a lot of promise in the story as long as they remember to develop their characters while still having cool action sequences. (Aimee Hicks | 5/27/2024) | 27-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 7 | I expected less, quite solid with strong cast chemistry. Wonder how they will balance the serialized and procedural elements. (Marko Pekic | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| SWAT | 6 | Had some decent action, but was far too generic. (Milo-MJ | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| Ten Days in the Valley | 7 | ABC has tried and failed with this type of character crime show the last few years, but the cast is good and the meta angle could be interesting. (popcultureguy | 9/14/2024) | 14-Sep-2017 |
| The Gifted | 9 | This is the Marvel show we deserve! Very well done, and the visual effects look a lot better than other things on TV right now. (Joey Hedrick | 9/7/2024) | 7-Sep-2017 |
| The Gifted | 8 | High lever of intensity for a pilot, but it's a very promising start. (Luana | 8/13/2024) | 13-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 7 | Expected a bit more, felt like they've tried to do a bit too much. Very strong performances by Nathalie & Amy, especially Nathalie. A lot of potential in general. (Marko Pekic | 8/9/2024) | 9-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 9 | This show is awesome! I can't wait to see more. Finally a great X-men series. (Bence | 8/7/2024) | 7-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 10 | I throughly enjoyed this pilot from start to finish. Filled with fantastic characters of whom people will really like, great world building and a strong script. I was immersed in this world and didn’t wanted to leave, few pilots can do that. I’m really excited to see where this goes beyond the pilot (and the rest of the season). Bravo FOX, you deserve all the success with this. (Nirat Anop | 8/7/2024) | 7-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 10 | I know nothing about the X Men but Matt Nix created one of my favorite ever shows, so I was always going to give this a go and it didn't disappoint. Hands down best pilot I've watched so far. Had my attention from the first minute and I was cursing when the episode ended, because I didn't want it to stop. Also a massive plus point having so many actors I like all in one show. (Samantha Benjamin | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 10 | One of the best of this years batch. I will definitely be watching this season. (Prpleight | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 10 | The Gifted is hands down the best new pilot of the season. They immediately begin building out the world the series exists within and don't spend an outrageous amount of time on exposition that can be dealt with in shorter bursts throughout the episode. The ending will leave audiences craving to know what comes next. An exceptional cast, solid writing, compelling characters, intense action sequences, and a terrific plot makes this one a must watch. (Aimee Hicks | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 8 | A really good start to what will no doubt be an awesome show. (Jamie Coudeville | 8/5/2024) | 5-Aug-2017 |
| The Gifted | 6 | Standard mutant/superhero fare with dry writing and an over serious tone, even Stan Lee's cameo was one of the most grave we've ever seen. (Kayell | 8/5/2024) | 5-Aug-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 7 | A good medical show with much more heart than some of the other medical offerings. (Joey Hedrick | 9/7/2024) | 7-Sep-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 7 | Freddie Highmore is quite good as the titular surgeon, less so was some of the “Grey’s Anatomy”-esque shenanigans surrounding him. (popcultureguy | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 9 | My FAVORITE pilot so far. It's got to be this season's breakout show. Freddie Highmore is an amazing lead who I already feel a connection with. He made me laugh and cry with him and not at him which is a step up in terms of Autism representation. This is going to be one of my favorite shows. (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 7 | I wasn't going to start another medical show but the autism aspect really interests me. I like how it was handled in the pilot and have high hopes for this show. (Jamie Coudeville | 6/22/2024) | 22-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 8 | I loved watching Freddie Highmore on "Bates Motel" and was very excited to see him in a new show. And thankfully, it looks like my Monday nights will be busy once again thanks to this show. There's a few unrealistic scenes here and there, but anyone who's watched any medical drama should be used to that by now. And there's a hint of a romance element (not involving the main character) that I hope generally stays in the background, 'cause it feels a bit out of place given the general premise of this show. But I love the sweet, gentle personality Highmore brings to his role (this show may be from the creator of "House", but the "brilliant mind" aspect is the only similarity the main characters of both shows share), I love the way his mentor goes to bat for him, as it makes for a touching cornerstone of the show, and I too got choked up at times as we learned more about Shaun. I think this show has the potential to give a bit of a different spin on the "brilliant doctor" premise, and feel there's enough here to keep people interested come fall. (Angela | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 9 | Simply beautiful. This may be my new favourite show this year! (Tyler | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 9 | I've never watched Bates Motel before so I didn't have much of a clue about Freddie Highmore's acting skills, but holy nuggets, he's outstanding in this and an absolutely charming lead. The pilot was a little bit slow to begin with, and some of the scenes detracted from the better parts of the episode, but every scene that involved Shaun (including the flashbacks) were great. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried towards the back end of the episode. It's definitely an emotional drama that could well be a hit. (Abi Baker | 6/2/2024) | 2-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 7 | Nothing about this show excited me in its early development. That didn't change after it was picked up. I'm one of the few people to have never seen Freddie Highmore in anything, so his casting did nothing to excite me. Then I watched the pilot and was pleasantly surprised. Highmore is an absolute star and does so much within the confines of his character. The 7 rating is in regards to an array of clunky dialogue that plagues many of the other characters and some really ridiculously contrived situations. There is strong potential here as long as the show can tighten up its dialogue and character development. I do recommend giving this one at least a trial place on your Fall schedules. (Aimee Hicks | 6/2/2024) | 2-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 6 | Medical dramas aren't my type of things, but the trailer had me intrigued & the pilot didn't disappoint. Freddie Highmore is absolutely brilliant. The flashbacks are heartbreaking but fit so well into the show. I'm hoping Antonia Thomas's role increases as the show goes on as I've liked her since Misfits. The only reason I'm giving this a 6 is because 2 particular characters had me raging throughout the pilot, which ruined my enjoyment. (Samantha Benjamin | 6/1/2024) | 1-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 8 | A flawed pilot with great potential. Freddie Highmore was freaking brilliant. (Marko Pekic | 6/1/2024) | 1-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 9 | Freddie Highmore is above and beyond excellence here. A really remarkable performance. There is great emotional depth to this pilot. It's skillfully directed and features some strong dialogue. The diverse supporting cast is interesting, some more than others. Intrigued to see how where the show goes after the pilot episode. I hope it's successful for ABC. (Nirat Anop | 6/1/2024) | 1-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 8 | Didn't blow me away, but this is a very promising character-driven series. Will be watching come Fall. (Jimmy | 6/1/2024) | 1-Jun-2017 |
| The Good Doctor | 10 | Beautiful. Watching Freddie Highmore and the rest of this cast deliver this material was like watching art get made. Each scene fit together so seamlessly, and the flashbacks were truly heartbreaking and emotional. If I'm being honest, while this definitely felt House-ian, this pilot is more well defined than House's was. If there's any show to check out this season it's gotta be this one. Well done to all involved. I hope this is the season's biggest hit. (Laura Markus | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 6 | It had a lighter-than-expected touch and likable leads, but it’s another pilot that left me unsure as to what it’s going to look like week-to-week. (popcultureguy | 9/3/2024) | 3-Sep-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 8 | Fun ride and a good message. Excited to see where it goes. (Joey Hedrick | 6/11/2024) | 11-Jun-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 7 | Quirky, well intentioned but won't last on mainstream network (Donna Cromeans | 6/9/2024) | 9-Jun-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 7 | Hopeful and inspiring, this pilot makes you feel good. It has a bit of a Drop Dead Diva vibe with the heaven aspect. I like the family angle the show is going for and I hope to see it developed further as the seasons progresses. Jason Ritter is perfectly cast. (Nirat Anop | 6/6/2024) | 6-Jun-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 8 | Liked this a lot more than I was expecting to, and will be sticking with it. (Samantha Benjamin | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 7 | Pleasant surprise. Not sure if I'll stick with it but I will give it a few eps. (Prpleight | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 6 | This really really wasn't for me. I didn't connect with at all, but that doesn't mean that it's a bad show. The relationship between Kevin and his niece seems promising, but I'm not digging this family/fantasy drama vibe that is driving the show. It definitely has potential, but going off the history of the timeslot it's been given, that might not be enough. (Abi Baker | 6/2/2024) | 2-Jun-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 5 | I'm bored. Even if I enjoy most of these actors the intro was too slow for my liking. I probably won't keep watching. (Laura Markus | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 6 | A decent idea that could have easily been a spinoff of The Leftovers. Interesting execution with enough premise to improve, and despite a slow start, if it fixes its problems, it could turn into a hit. I'll keep an eye on this one. (Milo-MJ | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Gospel of Kevin | 8 | Slow start but gets quite good as it progresses. Jason Ritter delivers a strong performance. (Marko Pekic | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Mayor | 8 | It has all the makings of a fantastic ABC comedy, social commentary, family ties and a whole lotta heart. Yvette and Brandon have amazing chemistry as mother and son. (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| The Mayor | 6 | The pilot for this political comedy left me a little wobbly on what it’s going to be week-to-week, but the premise has potential and the cast is extremely charismatic. (popcultureguy | 6/23/2024) | 23-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 7 | The characters have good chemistry and the concept has a lot of potential if done right. (Luana | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 6 | Good pilot. Seemed to move a little too quickly, though. Pacing will be a big thing to look for in future episodes. (Joey Hedrick | 6/10/2024) | 10-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 7 | Not as strong as I was expecting from ABC comedies but still good and promising. Yvette Nicole Brown was a big standout for me, she has some great scenes. There is some great dialogue and important messages in the show. Could use some tighter editing and a clearer focus. (Nirat Anop | 6/6/2024) | 6-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 5 | I wasn't sold on the premise when I first heard about this show & the trailer makes it look a lot better than it is. Whilst some interesting social issues are brought up, the plot is extremely predictable, the main character isn't very likeable and the supporting cast is where the laughs are based. Needs a bit of work to find itself. (Samantha Benjamin | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 7 | Went into this pilot blind. Not clear on which direction they'll take but it could be fun. (Prpleight | 6/5/2024) | 5-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 7 | This was a pretty solid pilot with a few laughs, but it felt a little rushed and as if there were one too many cuts during the editing process. It needs a little bit of work finding it's tone, but it's an enjoyable half hour. (Abi Baker | 6/2/2024) | 2-Jun-2017 |
| The Mayor | 8 | Now this was really good. It has a great cast, some fun, topical jokes and and looks like a really solid addition to ABC's lineup. Easily one of the most promising shows of the fall season that I've seen so far. (Milo-MJ | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Mayor | 8 | Charming, great cast, and some dope writing at times. This could be a hit if ABC plays their cards right. This was especially well received after I watched 9JKL. This is how you do a comedy. (Laura Markus | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Mayor | 7 | Got some slow-ish moments. Great character chemistry with some neat guest appearances. Really enjoyed Lea, Yvette and Brandon. (Marko Pekic | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Mayor | 7 | An interesting start - it definitely has potential. (Tyler | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| The Orville | 8 | DO NOT WATCH THIS AS A COMEDY! Go into this show ready to watch an off-shoot of Star Trek, then be pleasantly surprised with the peppering of Family Guy humor. This show does not lean on comedy, but rather uses comedy to enhance the experience. If you don't like either Star Trek or Family Guy, this show is not for you. (Joey Hedrick | 9/7/2024) | 7-Sep-2017 |
| The Orville | 6 | A straightforward “Star Trek” send-up from Seth MacFarlane that’s very watchable, but doesn’t have as much fun with the tropes as you’d think. (popcultureguy | 8/26/2024) | 26-Aug-2017 |
| The Orville | 2 | One of the worst Pilots I have seen the whole season. Not funny, poorly written with top many unfunny hits towards the female lead, slightly misogynist IMO. (Marko Pekic | 8/9/2024) | 9-Aug-2017 |
| The Orville | 8 | Filled with promise and some great VFX, The Orville is one I’ll be watching (along with The Gifted). I have to commend the production design because for network TV, this is a pretty good job at a sci-fi space series. The jokes are a bit hit or miss but it’s also filled with great heart. I look forward to seeing the rest of the great cast of characters develop further as well as the story. This was a strong pilot that utilizes it’s great cast well, sci-fi fans who’ve enjoyed the trailers should be pleased. I wish FOX lots of success with this project because they really put in the time and effort to make a enjoyable space adventure and it's noticeable. (Nirat Anop | 8/7/2024) | 7-Aug-2017 |
| The Orville | 8 | The trailer makes this look funnier than it actually is, however I've been a fan of Seth's for years and count Family Guy + American Dad among my favorite comedies, so I was always going to give this a watch. Some of the jokes really fall flat, but then there are moments (one line in particular) where I was howling with laughter & it's got a lot of heart. (Samantha Benjamin | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Orville | 8 | I had serious doubts about this show after seeing the trailer. Luckily, the only majorly bad thing about The Orville is its trailer, which was horribly tacked together. It has a unique sense of humor and while the jokes don't always come across as they perhaps had been intended there are some moments that are laugh out loud funny and they more than make up for the less funny parts. There is a beautiful blend of humor and heart that could make this show something special. Be sure to give the show a chance because it's surprisingly good and the chemistry between the cast is drastically better than expected. (Aimee Hicks | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Orville | 6 | A fun show however I think the length is too long. It would work better as a 22 minute comedy rather than a 45 minute one. Adrianne Palicki is amazing, as usual. (Tyler | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| The Orville | 7 | The humour is hit or miss, but when it hits, it hits, mixed in with a surprising dose of heart and drama, at least, more than you'd expect for a space farce. (Kayell | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| The Resident | 6 | A decent medical procedural that gets by. I'm interested enough to keep watching, but it's nowhere near the top of my priority list. (Joey Hedrick | 9/7/2024) | 7-Sep-2017 |
| The Resident | 6 | The Resident has a lot to juggle and whilst it doesn't always succeed, there are some promising signs that it could turn into something interesting. It's not always accurate with the medical side of things - but it moves along at a quick, brisk pace with a very pop heavy soundtrack. If you like the genre then you'll dig this, especially as it caters to its target audience well, but don't go in expecting anything mind-blowing. I'm giving this a 6 but it could easily be a 7 or higher for the right target audience (it was always a hard sell for me as I'm not a big fan of medical shows), so bear that in mind going into this. (Milo-MJ | 8/8/2024) | 8-Aug-2017 |
| The Resident | 4 | I went in with a preconceived notion of the show and so it's not a surprise that I didn't like the pilot. (Babar | 8/6/2024) | 6-Aug-2017 |
| The Resident | 9 | Very promising. Doesn't try to be a realistic or medically correct series, and that plays in favor of some intriguing character development. Will be watching. (Jimmy Ryan | 7/11/2024) | 11-Jul-2017 |
| The Resident | 8 | They've tried to do a lot in just 42 minutes but it is graced with great performances and messed up relationships. Intrigued to see where it goes from here. (Marko Pekic | 6/21/2024) | 21-Jun-2017 |
| The Resident | 8 | I enjoyed it a lot, it somehow avoids the feeling you're watching a typical medical procedural. (Luana | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 5 | Another CBS crime show, another tech-driven procedural, that’s a shallow take on some complex issues. (popcultureguy | 8/26/2024) | 26-Aug-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 8 | A lot like A.P.B. but it does the emotional stuff a lot better. (Luana | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 8 | Another crime procedural, but this one has an interesting twist on the subject, as well as an overarching story. Definitely adding to my watch list. (Joey Hedrick | 6/9/2024) | 9-Jun-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 6 | A tech billionaire suffers a personal tragedy and decides to dedicate his money to developing a crime-solving app in Wisdom Of The Crowd, and if that sounds pretty similar to the synopsis of APB's pilot to you, then it did to me too. It definitely has potential, and if season one is a serialised effort to solve the case mentioned at the start of the pilot, then I might be interested in seeing how this develops. Hopefully it won't end up being a generic police procedural. (Abi Baker | 6/3/2024) | 3-Jun-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 9 | Unexpectedly hooked. (Prpleight | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 6 | Decent start, interesting concept that has premise but can it sustain itself? (Milo-MJ | 5/28/2024) | 28-May-2017 |
| Wisdom of the Crowd | 5 | This one has potential if it doesn't drown in its procedural nature. (Marko Pekic | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 8 | You don't need to be a fan of The Big Bang Theory to love this show. It's a feel-good comedy with some really good laughs. Mary Cooper is a fantastic TV mom! (Jaz | 8/4/2024) | 4-Aug-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 7 | I can be very picky when it comes to sitcoms and usually drop new one after only a few episodes but I don't think that will be case here. I really like Iain as Sheldon and enjoy seeing more of the relationships with his family. (Jamie Coudeville | 6/22/2024) | 22-Jun-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 6 | It's sweet but I'm not sure how sustainable it is. (Luana | 6/20/2024) | 20-Jun-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 7 | An amusing and sweet start for the “The Big Bang Theory” prequel, though it feels like it’d be more at home in ABC’s stable of family sitcoms. (popcultureguy | 6/18/2024) | 18-Jun-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 3 | If you like TBBT, you'll like this, but I don't. I may have smiled one time. Lead actor is fantastic as a young Sheldon, though. (Joey Hedrick | 6/8/2024) | 8-Jun-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 8 | Surprisingly heartfelt and lovely. I did not expect this from CBS whom usually turn out overly sexual, stereotypical and racist comedies with no real depth or meaning. I'm not a fan of The Big Bang Theory and it's annoying laugh track, this prequel is void of those failings. The family dynamic is very well done, Iain Armitage shines as Young Sheldon as does Zoe Perry as his mother, whose character has shades of other exemplary ABC comedy mothers. I really recommend this, skip 9JKL, it isn't worth any of your time. (Nirat Anop | 6/1/2024) | 1-Jun-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 7 | While this wasn't anything groundbreaking I thought the pilot was enjoyable. Young Sheldon was very cute, and I loved the mom. I think this has potential, and I like family comedies. (Jessica VanWinkle | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 3 | I don't like The Big Bang Theory, but I was willing to give this a chance and went in open minded. I wish I hadn't, because I really wasn't a fan of how this played out, feeling completely unnecessary. Feels like it would have been better as a flashback episode rather than an entirely brand new series. If TBBT is more your thing, you'll probably dig it though, it just wasn't for me. (Milo-MJ | 5/31/2024) | 31-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 6 | Young Sheldon plays it safe as a family comedy, but it's not groundbreaking nor hilarious, just pleasant enough to pass time and maybe follow up. (Pablo Troncoso | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 8 | Stopped watching TBBT some time ago but found Young Sheldon really entertaining. The cast has great chemistry and I really enjoyed the interactions between Sheldon and his family members. (Raina | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 7 | Cast has good chemistry, there were a few funny moments & I prefer comedies that don't have a laughing track. However I stopped watching TBBT ages ago & only tolerated Sheldon when I did, so not sure I see myself long term watching a show centered on his younger years. (Samantha Benjamin | 5/30/2024) | 30-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 8 | Surprised by how much I liked it. (Prpleight | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 7 | A lot more enjoyable than I was expecting when the show was first announced! (Tyler | 5/29/2024) | 29-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 8 | Has ABC comedy feels, funny and heartwarming. Not sure how compatible it is with the mothership. (Marko Pekic | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 9 | Actually quite funny. Fresh spin on same characters. (Brandon Rowe | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 9 | I've never been able to get into The Big Bang Theory, but I adored this pilot. The great thing about this show is that you don't have to be a TBBT fan to enjoy it. The actors all have great chemistry and the show isn't only funny, but it has a lot of heart too. It almost got a 10 rating from me, but there were a couple quirks that docked it down a tiny notch. Without question this is the strongest comedy pilot CBS has for this coming season. (Aimee Hicks | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
| Young Sheldon | 9 | I really liked it. I wonder what's going to happen next. I liked the narration of the older Sheldon. Also I loved his sister, Missy. She's so fun. Good little dramedy. :) (Bence | 5/26/2024) | 26-May-2017 |
