1) If you are interested in officiating at a sanctioned AMS swim meet, please contact the Officials Contact listed on the Meet Announcement for that meet.

2) If you are interested in training for an advanced position (Starter, Referee or Admin Official), please contact AMS Officials Chair Donna Beyerl to make her aware of your interest and to coordinate an available space at an upcoming meet to train.

3) Enter your Name in the area of your highest certified position (Admin, Referee, Starter, CJ, Stroke & Turn, or Apprentice)

4) On the line where you entered your name, continue adding your relevant information (your club, email, phone, and put an "X" in the columns for the sessions you are able to work. There is also a column where you can leave comments or requests.

5) The referee has the right to limit training based on adequate staffing of the deck..

6) If you are interested in training for an advanced position, please check with the referee or officials chair to be sure that there is adequate staffing and that there is a qualified trainer in that position.

Nobody can train an apprentice for an advanced position unless they have worked a minimum of 12 session in that position AND have been certified in that position for a year.

NOTE - THE USE OF THE AMS OFFICIALS CONTACT LISTS IS SOLEY FOR CONTACT REGARDING AMS SANCTIONED MEETS AND AMS TRAINING. ALL OTHER COMMUNICATION MUST BE APPROVED BY THE AMS OFFICIALS COMMITTE OR THE AMS BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
