Be a part of this year's school government, the ASB Executive Council! Students who are a part of ASB work with our school leaders to make important decisions regarding various aspects of our community, especially regarding financial matters such as fundraisers and special events. All students may apply to be on Student Council as a grade level representative or in an elected role. Elections are held once a year.

9	Chamber Orchestra (Audition Only Club)	Carol Byman	No	October - May	Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays	Orchestra Room	4:15pm - 5:15pm	Chamber Orchestra is an ensemble that is open to 7th and 8th grade students in the orchestra program who play string instruments. This group is audition based and relies on each participant to come prepared each rehearsal! This ensemble meets 3 days a week starting the first week of October.

Hawthorn direct our talented Wy'east students in a school play once a year in the fall. All students are welcome to join and audition.

Description: WSUV provides support for students to design, build, test, and present a team project (teams consist of 2 to 4 students) utilizing mechanical engineering concepts. The moderator of the club instructs on the various aspects of this project and provides lessons on how to build one project as an example. Students are provided with all the materials by WSUV. There may be occasion for students to go on a field trip to WSUV either during school hours or after school hours.
18	National JR Honor Society Club	Shannon Bowles	Yes	All School Year		Room 230	4:30pm-6:00pm	The National Junior Honor Society is an after-school leadership club for students who are interested in bringing their ideas about how to make their school a better place and seeing them come to life! Past projects have included Polar Express night, teacher thank-you trees, holiday lunchtime Kahoots!, emceeing awards ceremonies and leading assembly games.

This is not a team nor a class. Students can take the robotics class in middle school and/or they can join the robotics team at Mountainview HS. The club is meant as an exploration and a way to experience robotics through play.
