STRIPBOARD & SHOOTING SCHEDULE TEMPLATE
2
3
Welcome! To get started, follow these instructions...

1. Go to the "Stripboard" Sheet (next sheet).
This is your starting point. Fill out your Project Title to get started.

2. Create Strips for Every Scene in your Script.
Start by editing the sample strips provided. When you need more strips (you will), just existing strips to retain all the formatting. You can also customize the shooting location dropdowns, via the "Template Options" sheet.

3. Reorder the Strips (rows) to Create a rough Shooting Schedule.
Pro Tip: Start by ordering by shooting location first, then group strips by DAY/NIGHT or INT/EXT.

4. Add Day Breaks.
Day breaks mark the end of a shoot day and displays the day of the shoot, date, and total estimated shooting time. It's a good idea to double check that Total Estimated Time is considering all of your newly added rows.

5. Add Banners for Company Moves and/or Meal Breaks.
Banners mark key changes in a given day, such as a move or meal break. Add as required.

To view an example of a populated stripboard, check out the "Stripboard Sample" sheet. If at any point you'd like a more automated solution, check out StudioBinder.com. Good luck!
