NLIHC tracks data on ERA1 and ERA2 funds approved or distributed from all 50 state ERA programs, the District of Columbia’s ERA program, and nearly 300 local ERA programs. The tracker includes the most recent information from (1) U.S. Department of the Treasury's Emergency Rental Assistance Program Monthly Compliance Report and Quarterly Reports, (2) publicly available data from program dashboards, (3) data from communications with program administrators and advocates, and (4) news articles.

Note: Obligated refers to funds that have been approved for payment to households but not yet paid.

*The Projected % Funds Obligated or Spent calculation assumes that ERA1 programs are using 10% of their allocations on administrative expenses and that ERA2 programs are using 15% of their allocations on administrative expenses. This is subtracted from the total allocation before dividing the amount of funding approved or distributed by the allocation. This is an estimate, as some programs may be using less than 10% of their ERA1 funds and 15% of their ERA2 funds on administrative costs.
**Tribal government data are not reported individually. The tribal/government amount paid is an aggregate amount reported by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
