Pilot profile elementsIn "the profile elements of the pilot" you must filled all the information you will need to evaluate the performance of the pilot. Some information can be gathered only at national/regional level, especially regarding the local food system context. These information can be gathered both with the use of official statistical data and with interviews to local stakeholders. Interviews should be done to key stakeholders rather than general public, in order to gather many valuable information with few interviews. Official data do not have to be analysed but only taken into account to better understand the broad context.
13
Common and specific indicators (Evaluation T0)The common indicators are relevant and mandatory for every pilot. The specific indicators come from specific issues of some pilot : we recommand to read them with attention as they could be relevant for you pilot, even if you never though about it before. It is important to understand that these indicators shouldn't be used only to evaluate the pilot success but also as a checklist of the process. i.e. despite some indicators being irrelevant to your pilot, take them into consideration anyway to think about how to improve the pilot in areas you may not have considered before

Data collection processSpecify the common methodoloy o calculation used for each indicator.

Evaluation T0This evaluation will take place before the investments and the test of solution on the pilot (Period 3). The goal of this evaluation is to have an overview of the pilot performance before the project to be able to make a comparison with the situation at the end of the project (evaluation T1 - period 5).

Pilot's evaluation Working GroupComposed of FAB'LIM, Esta and Capenergies, the working group have developped the methodology for the evaluation of the pilot and buid a common indicators template. Every partner responsible of a pilot will be in charge of the evaluation of their pilot using the mandatory indicators (common) and choosing some specfic ones.
