1. How do I do press outreach when promoting a product?
2. How do I do press outreach when promoting original research?
I've done some press outreach with various degrees of success. I've been interviewed for Inc, Entrepreneur (x2), and HuffPo. I've been quoted on several other places too. That said, I haven't found a consistent system.

What should be my ask when I reach out to someone doing press? A share? Write an article? Something else?

If they don't write an article, what should I do next?
1. Help clients get customers through press.
2. Get links for SEO (I want to get more organic traffic).
3. Use press as social proof.
