Welcome, this spreadsheet can be used to narrow down dataset based on parameters. Directions are provided below.

Step 1: Navigate to the sheet with the datatype you are interested in (located at the bottom of this spreadsheet).

Step 2: Create a temporary filter view by clicking on the data tab and clicking temporary view.

Step 3: Navigate to the column name you are interested in filtering and click the three lines making a down arrow.

Example 1: If filtering geographic coverage for global, click the three lines dow arrow to the right of the column title. Next, select the blue clear button. This unchecks all of the geographic coverage options. Then scroll through the options, clicking global, and a grey checkmark will appear beside it. Then click ok. Now your filter will only show global datasets.

Example 2: If filtering for a specific variable, again click the three lines down arrow to the right of the column title, in this case variables. Click the filter by condition option. The click the text contains option, and enter your variable of interest. Then click ok. Now your filter will only show datsets with that variable, along with any previous filter arguments you made.

Step 4: To delete a filter view, click on the white x at the top of the spreadsheet greyed out in dark grey.
