3AgricultureActiveYOUNGO Agriculture WG is a working group dedicated to advocate and work in the climate-agriculture nexus through consultation among youths and youth NGOs across the world. We have our members from diverse backgrounds and regions of the world, working all around the year, both virtually and on-ground. Our working group continues advocating on sustainable agriculture, smallholder farmers' rights, agroecology, just transition, food security and food sovereignty. We have been focusing on all three thematic areas of YOUNGO- communication, advocacy and action. We believe that our action in both policy level and ground level could help to contribute to feeding 9 billion people by 2050 , while fighting the climate crisis, in the ground of justice and equity.

8Climate Peace and SecurityActiveThis WG seeks to advance the knowledge and positioning of YOUNGO in the emerging policy discourse on the nexus of climate change and security.

Initiating this WG was, amongst others, motivated by the fact that since July 2018 the UN Security Council has shown renewed activism in the field of climate-related security risks.

While there exist different opinions on linking climate and security which undoubtedly is a double-edged sword, this WG recognises that this process is happening with or without youth voices and that proactive engagement in this discourse is necessary to promote inclusion.

15HealthActiveAccording to the World Health Organization, climate change is now the biggest global health threat of the 21st century. The health WG aims to discuss the health impacts of climate change that can be directly mediated through weather events, or indirectly mediated through the effects on economies, access to healthcare, social structure and ecosystems. Climate action offers a great opportunity to improve global health through health co-benefits. There are many no-regret climate interventions which generate greater public health benefits than their costs. As the health WG, we demonstrate to policymakers the human cost and benefit of NDCs and climate policies. Hajar Chams Eddine

17Indigenous SolidarityInactiveIndigenous Solidarity WG aim to rise multifaceted issues of Local Comminities and Indigenous people in tackling climate change to the table of decision-making process in UNFCCC. We refer to the Paris Agreement, Decision 1/CP.21, climate change is a common concern of humankind. When taking action to address climate change, the respective obligations on, inter alia, the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities should be respected, promoted and considered.
As the multifaceted issues come within ground sectors, we are willing to work collaboratively and building strong mutual solidarity for resilient.

18Loss & DamageActiveThe Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage promotes the implementation of approaches to address loss and damage associated with climate change impacts, in a comprehensive, integrated and coherent manner (See decision 2/CP.19 for the details). The mechanism is established under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to assist developing countries that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change by:
• Enhancing knowledge and understanding of comprehensive risk management approaches to address loss and damage
• Strengthening dialogue, coordination, coherence and synergies among relevant stakeholders
• Enhancing action and support, including finance, technology and capacity-building
Through these functions, the mechanism implements Article 8 of the Paris Agreement. The Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism guides the implementation of those functions through its workplan, and with the support of thematic expert groups. The current work plan has five strategic workstreams addressing loss and damage associated with climate change impacts. In fulfilling its mandate the Executive Committee also develops initiatives, such as the Fiji Clearing House for Risk Transfer, which connects experts and those looking for risk transfer solutions in order to build tailor-made responses, to foster climate-resilient sustainable development.
