| Rules for signup and hosting
| |||
| 1. Hosts should try to be available throughout the day to answer questions. We don't expect you to be online 24 hrs of the day, but checking in now and again should be possible for you - otherwise you should not sign up for that day.
| |||
| 2. You can only sign up for two trivias in advance - but you can sign up as long in advance as you want. You can sign up for your next trivia as soon as you post the current trivia, if you were already signed up for two. Also, please do not sign up for two days in a row, since the trivia system only allows you to see answers from one day at a time in your host sheet.
| |||
| 3. Do not use a celeb that has been used the last roughly three months. You can see used celebs in the Recent Trivias tab, and celebs used longer ago than the limit are marked in green (so these you can use again if you want).
| |||
| 4. Make sure that the trivia back-end has been set up BEFORE you post your trivia. Ideally make sure to send the answer in a DM to CheckingBackLater (PJ), Asura, or PAA the day before, so there won't be delays for you.
| |||
| 5. The payout sheet should be completed within 48 hrs of the trivia being posted.
| |||
| 6. It is appreciated if you post a reveal post on Reddit after you close your trivia. This is both for the users to understand their struggles, and for the mods doing the payouts knowing that the trivia is properly closed.

| How to get started for first-time trivia hosts
| |||
| You will need an answer sheet set up for you, so you can see the answers coming in. Send a DM to CheckingBackLater (PJ), Asura, or PAA, and we will get you set up and ready with your own personal host answer sheet.
| |||
| |||
| The steps of hosting a trivia
| |||
| 1. First sign up for a day that isn't already taken by someone else. This is done in the Booking Form sheet. You can sign up as far in advance as you want, but note that you are only allowed to sign up to host for two trivias in advance.
| |||
| 2. On the day (or ideally the day before), make sure that the trivia back-end is set up, by DM'ing CheckingBackLater (PJ), Asura or PAA with the answer to your trivia. If you post the trivia without having this set up, you MUST let the users know on posting, so they do not get confused about why all their answers are marked wrong in their hubs. And ONLY post without the back-end being set up if you have a VALID reason to do so.
| |||
| 3. Post your trivia to Reddit. Paste a link to the post in the Recent Trivias sheet, so it's easy for people to find later if they want. Also put in your Reddit username in this table, so we can see who hosted on that day. Ideally you should also share the Reddit post on Discord after posting.
| |||
| 4. Keep an eye on your host answer sheet, and see the answers come in during the next 24 hours. Put correct answers and corresponding payout amounts into the corresponding weekday of the table in the Payout sheet tab, following the payout values from the table at the top of that sheet. A mod will do the actual payouts from this table, and mark the paid out users in green (and later mark the full table as fully paid out).
| |||
| 5. Make sure to be available for questions that users might have, and consider adding more hints if it seems like your trivia was too difficult. Users can also individually ask for extra hints: It is at the discretion of the host whether the hints warrant a subtraction of payout amounts - depending on how hard the trivia was to begin with.
| |||
| 6. 24 hours later, or a little after, it's time to close the trivia. It is appreciated by users if you give them a last warning a little before you do this. Let people know that the trivia is closed: Post a reveal post on Reddit, or just tell people on Discord. Put the link to the reveal post in the Recent Trivias sheet, and put the name of the answer celeb in there too - even if you didn't make a reveal post.
| |||
| 7. Double check that all correct answers from your host answer sheet are filled into the Payout Sheet.
