Generally pretty well done though not without its flaws. Pacing was mostly too fast because there's a lot of zooms and slides for such a slow paced song. And some effects just didn't work at all (didn't look nice, had no real reason to be there), for example: 0:26 and later on at 1:45 with the broken hearts. I get the reason for their existence but it wasn't even necessary since the concept was pretty much already given to us and instead of adding to this concept, it just looked distracting and ruined it a little for me. Atmosphere was very well done though, I especially liked the part where she ripped the diary. Though I don't get why you had all those monochrome masks and vague abstract scenes since they were mostly confusing and dind't really blend that well with the AMV - felt more random than anything.

The effects were well done and implamented well. The issues I have are the constant crossfading, and the fact the visuals do not represent the song in the slightest. Just kinda a collection of pretty mildly emotional footage.

You can put a lot of effects into a video, and work heavily on the technical side but when you have a song like this, filled with emotion and it’s covered with pointless effects and unnecessary transitions it destroys the mood. That’s what happened in this video. Your transitions were rough and ruined the flow of the video. The flashes for the most part weren’t needed and once again disrupted the mood/atmosphere. I felt little to no emotion watching this video. Your scenes didn’t connect well with the song and I personally think this video would look a lot better without the effects and without the zooms/slides/transition heaviness in general. The source itself, while overused could have worked extremely well with this song, and the style of editing you chose to go with let you down big time.
