The original Harry potter series? Because it's focus is completely on narrative, and on the power of friendship and love or whatever, rather than actual mechanics, or rational actors.

It basically defined the genre. Harrry thinks through his problems, uses the scientific method, acts rationally to achieve his goals,, munchkins.

It's a typical romance novel. No one is particularly rational.

Bella tries to go about things optimally, uses various methods to optimize her thinking, sees vampirism as the huge oppurtunity it is, and has ambitious goals that she pursues via intelligence.

Most of the things that applied to luminosity, but as applied to more of the characters in this fic.

FOOM, and fairly logically treated at that.

Red uses scientific knoweldge and method to determine the traits and behaviours of his pokemon, and to further train them.

Luthor, superman, and Lois all work on the problems in their lives in believably rational ways, based on their morals. Luthor especially is clever and intelligently adapts to an otherwise omnipotent opponent.

Joon and Amarylis are both constantly trying to squeeze as much as they can out of the game layer, and to keep the narrative in mind as a sort of meta deconstruction of story structure. They're genre savvy, and munchkiny.

More borderline than some, but I think even with Taylor's irrational outlook, the munchkinry and consistent/believable wordlbuilding make this a rational work.

Ehhh, the worldbuilding is interesting but not quite in a r/r sort of way, everything is a bit too wibbly wobbly.

The main character's primary attribute being intelligence, even if it is a bit Sherlockian makes the work feel distinctly rational. Lots of munchkinry and a fairly consistent world.

I have sadly had little success recommending this to my more normal friends and family. Maybe I should stop touting as "A better biblical fanfiction than the Book of Mormon" to people who are Mormon? No, that can't be it. Despite the world being made up of puns and blatant irrationality it does feel like it shares a lot of themes and tone with rational works.

A bit more cracky than most works dubbed rational, but it does take the world seriously and turns the munchkinry up to 11. I think this should tentatively classify as rational, though maybe at the borders.

It's been a bit, but there's a few too many powers pulled out of a hat that no one else figured out beforehand, and Harry/Sirius are too powerful with no explanation as to why.

The original HP had many plot holes and was more whimsical than rational. It is written for children and It’s a foundational story from my childhood, but I don think I wouldn’t read int now if I didn’t have good memorie of it.

It extrapolates consequences from the original’s premise and examines more complex and intellectual themes. Characters feel like real people and int examines people’s self conceptions.

Bella is a flat, uninteresting character. I read the books because they were popular and I was intrigued with the worldbuilding.

All the worldbuilding potential fulfilled! And Bella has a distinct personality and strives to be an actor in her own story. She owns her story instead of having a book feature her.

World optimization! Worldbuilding!

It is relevent because it relates to AI safety and transhumanism. I don’t remember int for the characters, though.
