10/29/20131/21/2014The Language of AccessThe premise of the ‘The language of access’ is that the academic community, in its use of specialist language and concepts, often unintentionally inhibits communication across disciplines and with the wider public, thereby potentially limiting the impact of research. Linking with the London Arts and Humanities Partnership, this programme will build on the successful London Cultural Connections programme, which promoted face to face engagement and draw together early career researchers and postgraduate research students from King’s College London, UCL and the University of London School of Advanced Studies from the Arts and Humanities and Histories of Science and Medicine communities.http://languageofaccess.org/title
