They do not publish anything regarding the collapse of the company in 2022.The article goes into Treble's history with both the MLP and Furry communities. Notably, the "joining" of both communities comes with the creation of a convention he runs. He also defends the for-profit model as a way to "make the con successful" and that "you can dedicate your time like a part-time job to this" It is worth noting that not-for-profits and non-profits CAN have paid staff (i.e. Burning Man Project, a 501(c)3, which had a total payroll over $10,000,000 in 2020, with some directors making over $200k a year.) The difference is a nonprofit or not-for-profit must report these salaries on public IRS forms.

The Wisconsin Delinquent Taxpayers list (https://www.revenue.wi.gov/Pages/Delqlist/DelqSearch.aspx) shows both Treble personally and "Ponyville Bronies, LLC" the former name of Corgi Events. The amount owed is $47,199 of income tax with $22,345.17 in interest and a $17,012.68 penalty. Treble alleged on Twitter in a now-deleted post that this was a result of his 2018 taxes not filing correctly, that he "didn't actually owe that", and showed a letter from the IRS (Note that this debt is not from the IRS, but from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue - the state's version of the IRS) dated 2020-03-23 telling him he did not file a 1040 tax return for his 2018 taxes. He does not explain how such an error went unnoticed ($47,000 is a large amount and most people would notice if this wasn't deducted from their bank account), how this would have led to an Unpaid Tax Warrant being issued (Wisconsin claims to send at least one warning letter before a tax warrant is issued), nor any explination as to why this wasn't resolved since the letter was recieved in March 2020. (As of 2023-02-13 this case has been listed as "Full satisfaction")
