"Me, as emperor? What a jest! I'd rather leave that task to my older sister. A simple life is good enough for me. Well, as simple as being part of imperial family can get.""I've spent almost all my life being painted as a villain by everyone, it was about time I finally became one, huh?"

Arslan is not the next to rule and most likely never will, at least that is how he sees it and is fine with it. He wants to live more carefree and dreams of a life without obligations to the imperial court. However he is aware of his reality and is dutiful. He performs his tasks in an almost obsessive manner, making him a perfectionist (professor will never receive an incomplete assignment).

Arslan does enjoy the small freedom he has while still being prudent. As a conversation partner, he is amiable and easy to socialize with. His earnesty and perception are his best tools to charm his elders and peers. He may surprise you the first time he cracks a joke or even flirts back.

He has a very broad range of interests and loves to learn from peers when they have excessive knowledge in a specific field. Although he has many talents, he is aware of his limitations and faults, making him open to relying on others when he needs to.

After graduation...

Around the time of graduation from Garreg Mach Monastery, unbeknownst to Arslan, the empire suddenly declares war on the Desperbasque Alliance. They incite civil war within the Alliance in hopes to conquer the land and unify under the rule of the Anaïtian Empire. Their next objective would be to conquer the Kingdom of Tisovo as well. This causes a rift between Arslan and his fellow classmates, especially his close friends and house leaders, Ismaël and Miro.

Arslan returns home with his fellow Black Falcon classmates and finds himself forced in taking up arms to fight for the Empire. Despite being against the war, he reluctantly leads troops in the war effort against the Alliance. Seeing that rising in power within the Empire is his only option to make a change in the war, Arslan spends the next five years building up his military and political strength with the help of his allies.

In those five years, Arslan steels his heart for the damage he will cause and takes on the villainous role against his former friends in order to appease the nobles and people of the Imperial Court. He uses his leadership skills to rally troops and win battles with as minimal casualties as possible, taking all of the responsibility for his army’s actions. His solace is his hope that the end will justify the means.

Class Reunion / Decisive Battle/“Branching Route Point”

Within the past five years, Arslan has built up extreme anger and hatred for the current Empress, his sister Esmeree. Although he internalizes his anger, his actions have one purpose: overthrow the current sovereign. In a decisive battle, coincidentally also being the reunion between the Black Falcons, Blue Lynx, and Golden Bison, Arslan takes the opportunity to sabotage his sister and leave her to die at the hands of Ismaël and Miro.

Directly following the retreat of the Empire’s troops, Arslan returns to the capital and is crowned Emperor Şahin. Gaining favor with the court, he pushes to continue the war and unify the country under the Empire’s rule.

Black Falcons

Weeks after their last meeting, Arslan is approached by the reappointed King of Tisovo, Miro, for a request to join forces. Arslan, on behalf of the Empire, accepts and the Empire-Kingdom alliance is formally announced.

After many battles together, Miro begins to convince Arslan that Ismaël can be spared and the war can end somewhat peacefully. However, in the fateful battle between the Alliance and the Empire-Kingdom armies, Ismaël kills Miro for his betrayal. Arslan retreats and while grieving his close friend’s death, he deems Ismaël as reprehensible.

In the final battle, driven by his duty and the loss of a friend, Arslan takes Ismaël’s life and ends the war. The Kingdom and Alliance are annexed into the Empire and new leaders are appointed to rule over the territories. Arslan becomes the sole ruler of the country and begins by purging the current nobles who pushed for the war. After appointing new governing officials, he leads with a peaceful reign.

Golden Bison

The following months after the reunion are filled with bloody battles between the Empire and Alliance armies, but a confrontation between the leaders never happen. At some point, Arslan is notified that the Kingdom and Alliance have joined forces forcing the Empire go on the defensive, being attacked from both sides.

When Arslan is reunited with the other lords, it is the final battle with the Empire backed into a corner. With the combined strength of the Alliance and Kingdom, the Empire’s main forces fall. Although Miro had tried to persuade Ismaël to spare his old friend, Ismaël takes Arslan’s life, ending the war.

Blue Lynx

The Empire holds strong against the Alliance in the battles following the death of the Empress, but it is at a standstill. This continues for months until a surprise interception by the Kingdom, lead by Miro, ultimately results in Ismaël’s death. Arslan, unaware of how the battle progressed or of the change it caused in Miro, focuses his army against the Kingdom now that the Alliance has fallen.

In the final battle, Miro leads the Kingdom and defeats Arslan’s army, but despite the changes in Miro and his lack of fondness he once had, he allows Arslan to live. Arslan is exiled from the Empire while Miro becomes the single ruler over the three territories. Arslan continues his life quietly as a farmer, never seen or heard from again.

True End

Sometime after the reunion, the Kingdom and Alliance join forces against the Empire, following Miro’s lead. The Empire prepares its forces for attacks coming from both sides and does not relent. The battles continue for months until Arslan’s army begins to weaken and the two other lords have pushed through the defenses.

Arslan is confronted in the final battle by both Miro and Ismaël. Overpowered by their alliance, Arslan is forced to surrender and the Empire is at their mercy. Expecting his execution or quick death to appease Ismaël’s vengeance, Arslan is shocked by Miro’s resolve as he convinces Ismaël to spare Arslan. Instead, Arslan is given the freedom from his imperial duties to live a normal life in exile and leave the ruling to his old friends.
