NSHSS Hometown HeroThe NSHSS Leadership Award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to serving their communities through volunteer work, project leadership, or advocacy for positive change. Eligible applicants must submit an educator recommendation letter, a 500–800 word essay describing a specific community need they have addressed, the actions taken, the impact of their efforts, and their vision for lasting change, along with an academic resume, current transcript (official or unofficial), and a color headshot suitable for posting.
