Description:This festival is intended to raise money for My Sister's House, an organization that supports victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. We have a deal with Sudwerk where about 25% of beer sales and about 10% of vendor sales over the weekend will go to the charity. We would help with tasks such as running booths, assisting with mochi-pounding, helping direct artists and guests, helping with the kids craft booths, and directing traffic. Spots are filling up fast so fill out this google doc for the spots you'd like and then sign your name below: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15AzM4eKjc3kIwFI5PxgleXdgjvquL4KL88JW_CU9oYk/edit#gid=0Description:The Night Nation Run is the World’s 1st Running Music Festival an ultimate blend of a Music Festival and a 5k Fun Run. Families come with their kids to participate in festivities like arts and crafts, motorcycle rides, games, and petting canine companion dogs and puppies. Description:Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth celebrates African American freedom and achievement while encouraging continuous self-development and respect for all cultures. As it takes on a more national, symbolic and even global perspective, the events of 1865 in Texas are not forgotten, for all of the roots tie back to this fertile soil from which this holiday is growing.
