Her wallet was stolen and it was reported then. The only thing she was able to receive back was her wallet. Today, U.S Marshals showed up at her home claiming that she is involved in a homocide investigstion. Due to the intrusive nature of today's incident and our non-affiliation with the investigation, my family expressed their right to remain silent, which caused the U.S Marshals to stay at the residence for 4 hours. When they realized that my mom's appearance does not match the picture of the woman they were looking for, they finally left. This leads us to believe that the investigation could possibly be linked to identity theft from my mother's stollen wallet because they claimed that the woman had the exact same name and birth date as my mom. This incident was a traumatizing experience and we need to find more information regarding the previous burglary case.
