The Boulder Pointe Instructor Challenge is a three-part competition designed to test the skills, adaptability, and horsemanship of our BP instructors — all while giving our newer and less-experienced lesson horses a chance to shine!

5Hunter Equitation – Flat w,t,c second groupIn the weeks leading up to the challenge, instructors will have time to work with their assigned horse, build a partnership, and prepare for the competition.

8Hunter – Trot Over Marked Course – Equitation4 rail jump2. ⭐ Under Saddle — Flat Work

AmberLeoInstructors will demonstrate their horse's training and their own riding skills through a flat-work class. Judges will be looking for communication, responsiveness, balance, and overall harmony between horse and rider.

MylaBlueThis portion of the challenge will test how instructors work through unexpected or unusual objects and situations. Think tarps, plastic bags, obstacles, and other fun surprises!

This is a great opportunity to see our instructors in a different setting, learn more about horsemanship, and — most importantly — support the horses and instructors who make Boulder Pointe so special.

It's also a fantastic way for our students and families to become more familiar with the new horses joining the Boulder Pointe lesson program and see their personalities and abilities outside of a typical lesson.
