2 | This spreadsheet is a database of around 3,300 US stocks. The database is used to feed data into several other spreadsheet tools. This spreadsheet is heavily inspired by the Roaring Kitty Universe spreadsheet. It attempts to recreate the function of that spreadsheet and will then be modified and expanded to better fit my needs and the needs of those that provide feedback on its development. This version uses a mix of Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, and QuickFS. | ||

4 | I recommend watching the RK Tools Part 3 of 3 video from minute 3:30-21:15. This universe sheet works almost exactly the same way and has the same tab names. You can also follow the below steps to get started right away. 1. Click "File" > "Make a Copy" and save a new copy of this spreadsheet to your own Google account. 2. Enter a ticker in the submit page. The sheet will check if it is already in the database and either pull from the database, or get data from an external source. 3. Enter any information about the stock that you would like to save, and choose which lists will track the stock. You can also add your own tags or rename the "field1", "field2", and "field3" columns to anything you want. 4. Choose "submit" on the far right dropdown and wait for confirmation the database has been updated. 5. Check the db and universe sheets to make sure the stock has been added and that additional details have been automatically added to universe 6. Download the Tracker spreadsheet and follow instructions to link the tracker to your Universe of Stocks | ||
