What this document contains?This Google Sheet document contains a list of topics and subtopics for the various classes in both the CBC and 8-4-4 Kenyan Education System.
We have provided different worksheets for the vraious classes from Grade 1 to Form 4. As you go through the various classes, ensure that
you observe the Class Codes, Subject Codes and Topic Code.

How do I use this document?- Each class has a subjects with various topics included. The list might not be exhaustive and new topics and subtopics will be added with time.
- To avoid 'over submission' each topic or subtopic is color coded to show its availability. Green means that you can work on it, Red means that we are not accepting new content at the moment for that topic or subtopic.
- Before creating content for the Green-labelled topic or subtopic, ensure you have read the comments/instructions that MAY be given beside each topic or subtopic.

Where do I find the topic code?- The topic code is the most important element in any topic/subtopic entry. The topic code is given alongside the topic name in every topic/subtopic entry.
- Copy the code to the field marked 'Topic Code' or 'Topic ID'. Further, you can write the topic code in your document bedore submission for review and processing.

What if a topic/subtopic is missing?- If you are convinced we are missing a topic or subtopic, kindly contact us. If approved, you will be given first priority to submit its content. (See below for content list)
- If the topics are missing and are indicated as unavailable, you can contact us with the relevant topics and subtopics. Once it is (they are) approved, you will be issued priority to create and submit content for it (them).
- Once you contact us and we approve your topic/subtopic, we will provide you with an appropriate Topic code to use for your content.

What content can I create?There are 5 main categories of content:
1) Notes - summarized notes of a specified topic (Few open slots per topic/subtopic)
2) Topical questions (Unlimited slots - should be atleast 15 questions with correct provided per topic/subtopic).
3) General Revision Questions ( Unlimited slots - should be atleast 20 questions with correct answers provided).
4) Class Videos (Unlimited slots - videos should be unique and meet the minimum requirements - see below)
5) General Content - Any study-worthy content including stories, audio-recordings, articles, how-to tips and more.

Who is the target of this content?Esoma-KE is open to both students and teachers, and so is the content. The content you create can be purchased and accessed by thousands of students and teachers engaged in our platform.

What about assignments and class-based exams and quizzes?Unlike topic/subtopic-based content where we use topic code, for exams, assessments, assignments, quizzes, and other content that covers an entire subject, use the subject code provided alongside the subject name in the class's worksheet.
- For instance, to create revision questions for Form 2 Chemistry, you might include some questions from Form 1 Chemistry. Since the target is Form 2, you will use s_2_4 as the subject code.
