Herbarium ObjectAs a user I want to be able to describe living things in my repositorySearch/FEPaul Pound @ UPEI migrated our D6 Islandora herbarium collection to modern Islandora. He developed a content type and other features that support the description of living things modeled on the Simple DarwinCore metadata schema. Some of the features of this project include the automatic population of tree of life data from GBIF when provided with scientific name of the specimen. The result is fulsome faceting when searching the site.Donald Mosesdmoses@upei.caUniversity of Prince Edward Island
Available now here: https://github.com/roblib/islandora_herbarium_object and a theme that was developed is also available: https://github.com/roblib/herbarium
