What this template doesDetailed plan vs. general work plan
8
A detailed work plan is the most thorough version of a work plan - it adds the deliverable each task feeds and the dependencies that could block it.The general Work Plan is enough for most projects. This version is for the ones with several teams, several deliverables, and real dependency chains.
9
Organises work by phase, then by deliverable, so the team sees not just tasks but what those tasks produce.Use the general Work Plan for smaller or simpler efforts. Use this one when a task slipping could delay several others.
10
Tracks planned dates, owner, dependencies, effort, and status per task.Update this plan weekly. Review dependencies whenever a date changes.
11
Works alongside the general Work Plan - use this version once a project has enough moving parts that a lighter one starts losing context.
