As Dean of Programs (Creative), Veronika leads the academic quality and reputation of undergraduate and postgraduate program areas, spanning screen, visual and performing arts, architecture and design, communications and journalism, and creative industries programs at the University of South Australia. Previous roles include Dean: Academic in Education, Arts and Social Sciences, Associate Head of School and Research Degree Coordinator in the School of Art, Architecture and Design, and as Program Director: Design, teaching in visual communications and supervising postgraduate students and higher degree research candidates.



As Dean of Programs (Creative) in UniSA Creative at the University of South Australia, I lead and maintain oversight of academic program and course quality and approvals for the University through our Academic Unit to University Academic Board. In my previous role of Dean: Academic, Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, I led the quality and approvals processes for academic programs in four Schools: Education (including initial teacher education); Psychology, Social work and Social Policy; Creative Industries; and Art, Architecture and Design.



Veronika’s work in creative arts and design education has been recognised with a national Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT) Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, a UniSA Citation, and three International Society of Typographic Designers Tutor Awards.

Evidence of independent reviews
Invited by Sunway University in Malaysia to audit their university pathway courses according to the criteria set down by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia Quality Evaluation System (MyQuest) – I authored and delivered a comprehensive audit report meeting the MyQuest requirements. The purpose of this audit was to evaluate the current performance of private colleges in Malaysia in terms of students, programs, graduates, resources and governance.
