Physician. Ledgers (1921–1928), memo books, and birth records (1925–1942) from Erwin’s medical practice in Nowata County, Oklahoma.

(n.d.); an anatomy chart (n.d.); accounts (1951) turned over to the Interstate
Reclamation Bureau for collection, all from Mixon’s medical practice in Spiro, Oklahoma; and certificates and diplomas.

Physician. Account ledgers (1908) from Clarkson’s medical practice at the Wheelock Academy in Millington, Oklahoma, and at Valliant, Oklahoma. The collection also includes class notes (1926) by his son, A. M. Clarkson, while a student at the University of Oklahoma. Also included is: Drawings for embryology, 1925-1926. Collector. A typewritten manuscript (n.d.) in which Homer W. Wheeler describes his life as a U.S. Army scout; numerous broadsides, newspapers, and handbills (1840–1966) regarding the settlement of Kansas, along with a wide variety of other documents (1833– 1965) collected by Farley and relating to the Civil War, settlement of Kansas, Indian battles on the Great Plains, with an emphasis on Kansas and on the history of the West in general. report of Theodore Roosevelt to the U.S. House and Senate on the sugar beet industry (1902) Letter from Winston Churchill to Alan Farley regarding autographing books (1939) Letters and other documents containing the signatures of: -James Garfield -Andrew Jackson. Pianist. Musical score (n.d.) entitled “Grand River Suite,” written for string orchestra by S.
A. McReynolds, along with original compositions (1932–1968), travel sketches, and short
stories (ca. 1963–1968) by Kirkpatrick. Also included are sound recordings (ca. 1990) of
Kirkpatrick playing his compositions and a biographical outline of Kirkpatrick's Musical career.

Investor. Three deeds (1838, 1857) for land in Vermont, one deed (1903) for land in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Territory and a letter to Mr. James Chenoweth from Charles Keaton.

Author. Correspondence (1930–1983) of Edwin and Alberta Constant with friends,
admirers, publishing companies, and agents regarding family affairs of the Constants, the
authorship, publication, and distribution of her works, and public appearances by Alberta
Constant; publicity items (n.d.) generated by Constant’s writings; subject and reference
files (n.d.) of Constant regarding topics of interest or on which she wrote; manuscripts
(n.d.) of the fiction and non-fiction works by Constant; and publications (1945–1953),
including newsletters, magazines, journals, containing articles or stories by Constant; and sound recordings of a ballad and a speech.

history of aviation, including publications and reports of the Oklahoma Aviation
Commission, magazine articles and clippings, bibliography cards, certificates and diplomas.

U.S. Navy physician. Various publications; correspondence (1860–1913) to and from Griffith regarding his
participation in the Civil War, his later membership in a U.S. Navy expedition to Darien,
Panama, and also regarding the New Hope Seminary in the Choctaw Nation; diaries (1864–
1870) regarding Griffith’s naval travels abroad, his stay in Lisbon, Portugal, and his
emigration to Indian Territory; naval medical reports and requisitions (1870–1871); a
petition (1894) from the residents of Sans Bois, Choctaw Nation, requesting that Griffith
become their physician; certificates (1900–1917) advising him of his election as
superintendent of schools for the southern district of Indian Territory, and of his
membership in medical associations; a passport (1871) issued to Griffith for travel in
France; manuscripts (1864–1865) by Griffith, detailing his participation in Gen. William T.
Sherman’s march to the sea through Georgia and North Carolina during the Civil War; and
publications (1888–1931), including Grand Army of the Republic encampment programs, a
booklet entitled Songs of the Darien Expedition, and college graduation and event
invitations.
