x axissee http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/D3D_IntegrationIsraelhttp://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:D3D_16_Sub-assembly_X_Axis.fcstd6500Keep correct dimension of printed pieces (turn them into a block), while removing all details. Get rid of belts. Keep the 2 holes in the carriage piece for the belt and peg. Keep the pegs. Keep a block for the stepper motor, and keep the stepper plug location. Keep the nut catcher holes in motor and idler piece. Keep the rods. Everything else can go. Keep the end stops, but greatly simplified so we know they are there, and we know how far out they reach. This determines our range of motion. http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:D3D_16_Sub-assembly_X_Axis.fcstd24

y1 axisIsraelhttp://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:D3D_16_Sub-assembly_Y_Axis_Left.fcstd6600Same as X axis, but don't keep the nut catcher holes. Add the 2 bolt holes where the X axis connects to y axis.

y2 axisIsraelhttp://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:D3D_16_Sub-assembly_Y_Axis_Right.fcstd6600Same as Y2

MK8 extruder assembly with quick mountCedrichttp://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:D3D_Extruder.fcstd3400Just strip all the internal parts and details - just make the dimensions of the extruders correct - but simplify/delete all you can.

heated bed assembly with heated bed supporthttp://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:Heated_bed_06.fcstd1250Get rid of the wires. Just keep the shape of the platform. Strip details from the bed mounts - but keep the nut catcher holes in the 3d printed piece.

cable chainAyo - see items 18-21 aboveOnce we have individual links as above, we can create an even simpler shape for the entire cable chain for use with the Draft Path Array - http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/Draft_Path_Array. Path Array should be used to get any shape of chain - we would want to create an instructional on that.http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:CableChain_Link_Simple.fcstd61
