Med-HighEnsure there's a profile for each person (who has descendants) profiled in Anderson, and that wikitree profile reflects Anderson. Track progress in the PGM Anderson Name List fileCheryl Skordahlcompleted N - R, continuing through S at the present time 7/31/2018

HighEnsure all roles are covered; each person who is responsible for their own role should also be responsible for finding someone to take that role on in the event of an emergency, a vacation or other business travel that will take them away from wikitree for a week or more.Jillaine

HighProcessing badge requestsRequires Leader access. Cheryl is responding to requests that go to PGM g2g join thread and responding to requests that come in via private messages to the PGM profile.See this file for boilerplate language to use

HighPeruse PGM tagged questions/topics in g2g, and respond as needed
Sometimes this means doing research on the spot. Sometimes involves re-tagging non-tagged posts to pgm;
Close thread when resolved
Pool of folks currently doing this; add yourself if you want to be included; remove yourself if you want to focus elsewhere:
Jillaine Smith, Ellen Smith, Anne B, Jeanie T, Chris Hoyt, Sharon W; AnneB has started tracking these; see tab in this file called "g2g tracker" Who else?
This file has boilerplate language for email to profilemanagers who have not responded to g2g posts

HighTrack the Project Account -Wikitree-30- specifically, messages that get sent to that account (which is a google group)

I think there are two things here. One is to check activity for things that get changed and shouldn't. The other is to check messages and answer/respond just like in G2G. [JSS responds: this line is for the first; there is a separate line for g2g monitoring]

HighMaking sure that Wikitree-30 (wikitreepgm-pa@googlegroups.com) gets added as PM to PGM profiles, starting with those that have "Disputed Origins"Any of us can work on this, looking for profiles that meet this criteria and for which we are profile managers. People with Leader access can do on any profile. CLP 2-28-17: WikiTree-30 has been added as a manager to all profiles on Disputed Origins spreadsheet (I think). Michael Stills is currently adding thesee on a weekly basisThis is generally completed but the status report must be checked on a regular basis to update new people added. This requires Leader access to be able to adopt profiles.
11
LowChecking on badge recipients. If project volunteers have lapsed (i.e., no activity for 6-12 months), remove their badge. Jillaine set up aspreadsheet for tracking this.Requires Leader access to implement; anyone can check contribution history.

Jillaine will take this on.

Med-HighResponding to merge requests (challenge: not all PGM leaders/coordinators are PMs on profiles). The project is notified of each merge when it's proposed. Link goes to merges waiting for action .Checking the pending merges once a week to see what's outstanding, whats defaulted and needs merge, what needs PGM appproval because manager's have dropped the ball (requires leader) I can help do research on merges even when I'm not on the trusted list (Sharon W) Currently being done by Jeanie and Sharon

Med-HighReview peer-reviewed journals as they come out for new published research and update the profiles accordingly. See Resource List tab
Chase - NEGHS
Joe - NEHGR and TAG
Jillaine - NGS Quarterly

Med-High? Low? Dunno...Progress Tracker - some way to measure our progress against our goals. This will require some spreadsheet, no doubt-- a google one-- where we have the full list of all PGM profiles, and then check off each one as it is complete. This is a big project to get started. Is there anyway to automate it?M Cole expressed an interest in this, but has since gotten very busy at work.
15
Med-LowPeriodically review the PGM category to make sure that the template/category is appropriately applied. Could have members put the generic PGM category on each profile, so they end up in the category, then you or upper level project members go through and move them to better categories so they are no longer there if they';ve been noticed.
16
Med-HighWelcome newly PGM-tagged people. We should develop a short, simple boilerplate. Jillaine doesn't want them to be auto-invited to the PGM project, but perhaps there's a way we could let them know about the work of the project, encourage them to get familiar with wikitree generally and IF they want to take pro-active effort to improve PGM profiles, then to look into joining the project. I do like Abby's point about "catch new members and let them know… [that profiles of their ancestors are probably already on wikitree so don't add them! ]"
17
MediumPost-merge cleanup-- either after completing a merge yourself, of coming across a merged profile that has not been cleaned up.ALL
18
MediumWhenever a profile is viewed, review list of PMs (there are often many); check their contributions status; for any who have not made a contribution to wikitree in over 12 months, have them on TL but not PM.PMs on the profile may do this, or else it requires Leader access. Cheryl is doing this.
19
MediumRelated: Once we settle on a category / sub-category structure, we could have a mini project aimed at reviewing all PGM categorized profiles and appropriately applying sub categories to them. There appear to be plenty of category “nuts” out there who would love a task like this. (Jillaine is not one of them.)

Smile.I’ve not see all that many people who are nuts about adding useful categories. The enthusiasm seems to come from people who add categories instead of writing a biography. - Ellen
I think it would be appropriate for PGM profiles to add the specific ship category, if the passenger list is still available.
