Once again Ware win their county league division but finish bottom in the North Middlesex. This does not necessarily indicate different standards between the two leagues as Hoddesdon come second in the Middlesex competition but below Ware in the Herts league. In the latter competition Ware score an 11-0 win over Hertford Town, the best result by either side in the history of their meetings. Newell gets four of those goals and he is again top scorer for the season.
