25	The Applied Health Sciences program is designed to allow students ot obtain a Bachelor of Science degree by combining courses from the university curriculum with specific Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) degree from accredited community colleges.
26	We designed our applied health sciences degree for students with AAS degrees in Dental Assisting, Health Information Technology, Medical Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Physical Therapy Assistant, Respiratory Therapy, or Surgical Technology.
27	Students who hold an AAS degree in another field must seek permission to enroll with the Applied Health Sciences Program Coordinator.
28	The number of elective credits required for the concentrations/specializations may vary based on career goals. Students must achieve a minimum of 120 total credits with a minimum of 32 upper-level (3000-4000) credits and satisfy all University degree requirements to graduate.
29	Submit official transcripts showing AAS degree and all coursework completed with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
30	Concurrent enrollment in a community college AAS program and Oakland University's AHS program is NOT permitted.
