Pull BuoyUsed for arm isolation exercises but a kickboard can be used to do the same thing

LifejacketGeared towards boating or open waters, a floatation belt is better for deep water training

Nose & EarplugsThese things aren’t very useful if you plan on swimming laps or breathing properly

Hand PaddlesThese are like fins for your arms, great for training arm pulls but do most of the work for you

Swim BuoyUsed for open water swimming storage and floatation, not needed for pools

SnorkelUsed by competitive swimmers, eliminates side breathing but very difficult to use and not necessary

Snorkel MaskUsed for deep sea diving, not recommend for swimming because glass lenses will shatter
