Height (cm)HPI40s M never smoker with no significant PMHx who works as a construction worker presents with difficulty breathing. Was taking Tylenol and Nyquil at home for symptomatic relief. EMS reported desaturation to 82% on RA up to 96% on 6L/min. Patient initially presented to the ED on 3/13/20 for fever, cough, malaise, anorexia. Viral work up from that date revealed negative influenza A/B/RSV, negative respiratory viral panel and positive SARS CoV RNA dated 3/18/20. Has been on home quarantine, states he has a separate room and bathroom away from the rest of his family. Endorses dry cough, pleuritic chest pain, fevers, chills, anorexia, headache, nausea. Denies substernal chest pain, vomiting, diarrhea, dysuria.
