6
PresidioYesB1 or 2Yes, no limits on pets; $250 deposit + $10/month per pet1 bedroom:$859 (can vary depending on the packages you're getting. Opting for stainless steel appliances + hard wooden floor could get you a $50 increase in rent, for example). 2 bedroom: $1074 for silver packageThis is one of the newer apartment complexes in the area, utilities are reasonable, we pay water, internet (speed is decent and there is upgrade available if you contact the provider), and trash valet (picks up trash from your front porch, 5 days a week). Internet, pest control, and trash is $61. Washer/dryer in unit, walk-in closet. Main office has Starbucks coffee (free), gym, pool, tanning bed. Most importantly, staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is free and first come first serve. Reserved parking also available. $15/month for covered parking and $50/month for garage parking. This apartment complex is not on the bus route, but there is a shuttle that goes to campus (On demand. Drops you off at the YMCA building). If you want a pet yard $75 - $100 One of the few places that provide short-term lease (3 months and up). Important if you're in an accelerated program. Rent is $150 higher if you're lease is less than 7 months, though.
7
LexingtonYesCS1Yes; $400 deposit, no pet rent, any size okay, but limits of "bully breeds"$700rent includes water and internet (although I pay for my own internet as theirs is slow sometimes). Coin laundry ($1.50/load), not-so-great-sometimes-really-dirty pool. Quiet, but not maintained super well. On the bus route (one of the last stops- sometimes good (short ride), sometimes bad (full buses). Location in general is pretty nice, grocery store and whatnot is right around the corner and there's a "park" (really just a big field) across the street. Staff is really nice and responsive.
8
Eastmark at Wolf Pen CreekYesCS2Yes - 30 lb limit (although they let me have mine and she's much bigger); $400 deposit, 200 refundable$850free internet & water; washer dryer hookups for some 2 bedrooms. Kind of run down, fairly quiet, on the bus route, pretty good location, really nice park right across the street.
9
Castlerock Apartments (used to be Plantation Oaks)NoCS2not sure$765poorly maintained, management is awful (we lived there for ~6 months, never managed to get our lease done - which worked out because the place sucked); black mold. gross. don't.
10
BriarwoodNoCS1Yes$835Same management as Plantation Oaks, I believe. Maintenance never fixed anything without being harrassed, unusable pool and gym. Management clearly gives no shits about residents
11
Renaissance Park (Now The Grove)If you live on a top floorCS2Yes - $200 deposit, $10 pet rent$820Free internet, washer/dryer hookups. This complex is old buildings, like most everything else on Southwest, but under new management as of 2015. Maintenance is timely, apartments are being renovated so ours has new or newish carpet, appliances, paint, which is nice. HOWEVER we had issues with water leaks from the apartment above us, which seem to be common. Get a top floor apartment if you can. The AC leaked condensation a couple times, but this was not as upsetting as having water leak through our entire ceiling because the people above us didn't know how to not clog their toilet.
12
Parkway CircleYesCS1Yes, deposit and pet rent required though$950Internet, cable, and water included, we only pay electric. The building's old but the management is great, and some apartments have been updated/remodeled with nicer floors/cabinets/etc. The apartment complex's gym is terrible, but the pool area is very nice and set back a bit so it's fairly private. I've re-signed for next year, as this place is nice and livable particularly for the price (and a short bus ride to campus!).
13
Huntington ApartmentsNoCSPoorly managed by DTI properties. Avoid.
14
DTI PropertiesNoDTI Properties is terrible. Avoid at all costs.
15
Stadium ViewYesCS1 or 2Yes, with pet deposit and pet rent900-1200Dog park in the back, nice (often empty) pool, small fitness center, business center with computer and printer, hammock and lounge chairs. We have to pay electric, water, and $5 for trash. Internet included. Across the street from bus stop to campus. "Hardwood" floors throughout, screened patios on two bedroom apartments, some apartments have fireplaces. "Wrong side of the tracks," so sometimes you'll be held up by the train when trying to drive to campus. Also, there can be a lot of additional traffic from the Park West apartments behind Stadium View (they have ~3400 beds available) between 4:30-6:30PM.

$400 pet deposit, $10 extra rent per pet per month
~700 (1 bedroom) 860 (2 bedroom)Have lived here for 3 years, 2 years in a single bedroom and 1 in a 2 bedroom w/ backyard. Management is very good & responsive. Single bedroom unit uses shared laundry. 2 bedroom unit has laundry in unit. Utilities (electric, water, sewer, trash) cost me between 100-170/month, depending on how hot it is. Is on A&M bus route. Approximately 10-15 minute bus commute, 7-10 minute driving commute, traffic included. Highly recommended
18
The Arbors at Wolf Pen CreekYesCS1,2, or 3Yes, up to 30lbs, though they really don't check. They just need a vet's letter.900-1200Source: Lived here for two years in the 'Luxury' 2B/2B floorplan (about $500/month per head with incentive). Free internet, cable, HBO, washer, and dryer units. Nice little patios. Only pay for electricity. Loved the location: great for dogs, as Wolf Pen trail is right behind the property. Walking distance of Starbucks and HEB, though you get a carport assigned to you as well. Nice pool, grill area, volleyball court, and smaller workout center. Timely maintenance and responsive staff. Curbside trash pickup is nice and the location right on TAMU's bus line is great. It's very quiet-- mostly graduate students and young professionals with some families. I did my dissertation while I was here, and it contributed 0% to my stress, which is all I could've asked for.http://myarbors.com/images/forms/brochure.pdf
19
The Wick/Willowick apartmentsYesCS1-2Yes, up to 30lbs but if you talk to the leasing office in person they'll make an exception for well-behaved larger dogs789-900(2 bedroom)I have lived here for 2 years. For what you are paying, this place is not bad. This place is cheap, safe, and each apartment has a small patio. There are several busstops in the area and this complex is quiet with few students. There can be noise from traffic sometimes but the walls are quite thick so I rarely hear anything from my neighbors. Maintenance is usually iffy with their fixes although they always respond quickly. Layout for the 2 bedroom 1 bath and 2 bedroom 2 bath is cramped in terms of kitchen space. The biggest issue with this complex is its age (built in the 70s). There is very little natural lighting and the apartments are all very prone to bugs.

I have lived in the one bedroom apartment here for 10 months, and overall it is decent with a few notable things. First, make sure to get a second floor apartment if you want to study or have quiet. Many people upstairs sound like they are about to come through the floor. Maintenance responds quickly and all of my fixes have been "one and done." There was a week period where you could hear sirens passing by on the major road, but if you are further back in the complex the noise is minimal. There is a bus stop right outside the complex that takes you right to the Psych building which is extremely helpful. That all being said, everything is basic so if you are looking for a more updated apartment, look elsewhere. Internet is included as an additional fee with rent. Double check to make sure your unit comes with a washer/dryer. Some do and some don't, and on site laundry is so cumbersome I purchased a portable washer/dryer unit to avoid it.
20
Gateway at College StationYesCS1 or 2 Yes, some breed restrictions though. $500 deposit per pet ($350 refundable) and $5/month pet rent535 (2 bedroom per room) 845 (1 bedroom)Great dog park with lots of dogs there in the evenings, nice gym and pool area (2 pools). Bus stops right next to the complex on multiple sides. 1&2 bedroom apartments as well as a 1 bedroom junior apartment. Easy to get to and from campus from. Management is really responsive and maintenance issues seem to get fixed quickly. Some units have been recently renovated. Utilities end up being about $150-$200 total for a 2 bedroom apartment. 2 bedroom apartments have a fireplace. Seems to be a fairly quiet place to live, never had issues with loud parties in surrounding apartments. Balconies with laundry for individual units.
21
Flats on 12YesCS1Yes610Good pool and fitness facilities. Has studio, 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Not on the bus line, but does have it's own shuttle directly to campus, and is right across the street from Walmart for groceries. This is a more family-oriented apartment than a student oriented apartment. Close to police station.
22
Madison PointeYesCS1Yes 699ishHas bus stop, close to campus, fairly priced, has small dog park
23
Treehouse ApartmentsYesCS1Yes685Older, decent pool, bus stop right at the apartment. Includes internet, basic cable, water, sewer, garbage, and gas.
24
Brazos Point ApartmentsYesCS2Yes850Really old house, good location, and a decent price on the two bedroom. the management office was good at first, but it's getting really bad recently. Not recommended. I'm another grad student who lived at Brazos Point. Management is sometimes slow, but overall I've enjoyed living here. My rent is 730/month, which isn't bad for a two bedroom. The apartments are right on bus route 34, which is very convenient.
25
River Oak TownhomesYesCS3Pet fee$550New buildings, nice pool, poor communication with management and no staff on the complex itself, but maintenance is fairly fast (within 3-4 days), and the bus stop is closeby. Right on wolf pen creek.
26
Pepper Tree ApartmentsYesCS1Pet fee$700Older but renovated units are still pretty affordable. Under new management that has been great to work with. No bus stop but close to wal-mart and target. Pool is decent but right in the middle of other apartments. Internet and cable included. Definitely not a student population as it is on the south end of town.
27
The Woodlands of College StationNoCS2-4Yes, $500 pet deposit ($250 refundable) with $25/month pet rent$515-$700I lived there for 3 years and throughout that time the management changed several times. The apartments themselves are fairly nice but it is difficult to get management to take care of anything. Overall the time I lived there wasn't terrible but they charged me outrageous fees when I moved out even though the apartment wasn't damaged. I got the fees waved but then there was miscommunication within the management which led to my fees being sent to collection even though they were supposedly waved. I would avoid the apartment complex altogether to avoid the large fees and pain when moving out. There are much better places to live in College Station.
28
Tower ParkYesCS1-3Yes. A deposit + $10 pet rent (I got this waived through a dr's letter)840 (for larger 1 br); all utilities includedIt's not in the best condition considering it was built in the 70s but all apartments have patios/decks and it's full of trees and grass. The kitchens are a decent size compared to others in the area. It's quiet--lots of families, international students, a person who does tai chi on the tennis court. The location is really good for a car-free person--right behind HEB, close to Target, BB&B, and other big places (also Lupas). ~2 miles from campus. On the 27 bus line and near the 26. Maintenance is pretty responsive to issues. There's a pool (usually family occupied) and a teeny workout area. Also laundry onsite, and I usually don't have trouble getting a washer/dryer. You will have to pay a $300 refundable deposit if you don't have any current rental history.
29
Parcside TownhomesYesCS2Yes, $250 pet deposit and $250 one time pet fee as well as $25 a month pet rent$1,020 total, $510 each if split Used to be low income housing before being bought out and turned into townhomes. Managment has changed twice in the past year but current management has been very responsive and helpful. Good quality for the price. Mix of families and college students. Located on a TAMU bus route and is close to Wal-Mart, CVS, and a good amount of restuarants. Washer and dryer come in every unit, Wifi and basic cable also included. Small basic gym and pool onsite. Water is included but other utilities are not. My utility bill typically ranges between $75-$150 for the unit depending on the season. Overall not bad but definitely on the older side of buildings in town.
30
Park WestNoCS1Yes$914/month (all utilities included)All utilities included (internet, cable, water, electricity, trash, etc.). Great if you need a bus route to school (at least 4 TAMU bus stops in the complex). This year they had to add more parking spots since there were barely enough for residents - 0 spots for guests. The walls are thin and the water smells like rotten eggs if you leave for the weekend. Every unit comes with a washer and dryer. Only open to students - Lab manager able to live there because I had a UIN and nobody actually checked if I was a student. Gyms and pools onsite. Maintenance people are hit and miss. Sometimes they are really great at acknowledging the issue, other times, they do not fix the problem. All units come furnished.
31
Alpha and Omega Properties -FourplexYESCS2Yes, $300 pet deposit, of which $200 is refundable $775/month plus utilities (range from 85-150/month)Alpha and Omega have multiple properties across BCS. I live in one of the CS apartments off Anderson Street. Internet and Cable are included but you'll have to pay a monthly fee for the cable box and internet modem, unless you have your own. My apartment is on the bus route, 26, which drops you off directly at the Psychology bldg. It's about a 7 minute drive to campus. Units have washer and dryer and dishwasher. Maintenance is pretty good at responding to requests. The apartment is bit older, so you won't get any bells and whistles. I think it's a nice, safe, and quiet place to live. There isn't a recylcing p/u, so you'll have to either pay extra for that OR bring it to one of several recyling dropoff sites in town. Within walking distance to Lemon tree park.https://alphaomegaproperties.comFeel free to reach out if you have additional questions: wchowie@tamu.edu :)
32
The Bend at Crescent PointeYESCS1-2Yes, 3 pet max. $200 deposit, $15 pet rent$919-1,039/month for 1 bedroom (not including utilities), 2 bed = $1,058-1,328/monthI've lived here two years and I love it.
Pros: - It's nice, safe, and quiet--mostly other graduate students, faculty, or families live here.
- Nice pool, gym, and clubhouse
- Never had any problems with maintenance + they act fast
- Staff is pretty friendly
- There is a huge park right next to the community. Very nice to walk through!

Cons: - A little pricier than some other places
- There is no bus route that comes by. Personally, I like driving anyway, so that didn't matter much
- About 10-15 minutes away from campus by car
thebendapts.com
**Special deal: One month free rent (and they definitely honor it) when you sign! They also offer short term leases (great for the extra semester)
33
University SquareYesCS1Unsure745Pros:
- Internet, cable, and water are include
- There is a bus route (26) that drops you off right by the Psych Building or it's about a 6 minute drive to campus
- Units include washers and drive
- New management is kind and responsive to maintenance request

Cons:
- Older building so repairs are often needed
- Thinner walls so you can hear your neighbors
34
The ElementYes and NoB1Yes850 for 1B1BPros:
- It is on the TAMU bus route
- Located right on the Bryan/College Station city line, so close to everything
- Units include washers and drive, options for screened-in porch and covered parking
- Outdoor workout area and 6 tennis courts (but no pool)

Cons:
- AC and plumbing issues, and maintenance will sometimes ignore you unless you send in several requests with video proof
- Thinner walls so you can hear your neighbors

At Home Properties (property mgmt company for houses/duplex)YesBCS2+ Both pets and deposit depends on owners (my owners are pet friendly; $400 pet fee & one month rent deposit)$1425 for 3br/2ba with fenced yard is my rent. But they also have duplexes available right now starting at $875!This is not an apartment complex, it is a property management company, but good PMs are hard to find so I wanted to mention I've had a good experience with them. Maintenance is responsive but this may be dependent on owners as well. At Home worked with my requests and ended up allowing a perfect 16 mo lease (unheard of!) that ends exactly when the program ends in December. https://www.athomepm.com/college-station-homes-for-rentI also recommend working with a free leasing agent. I used https://www.aggielandapartmentfinders.com/
36
The Warehouse & FactoryYesCS1-4Yes. 300$ depost & then 25$/month (got mine waived by doc letter)~1400 for 1br/1.5ba. & covered parking. Other floorplans (those with roommates) are cheaper per month. It's student housing so normally comes fully furnished (I got mine unfurnished as I already had furniture, but doesn't decrease price). Cable, internet, and water all included in monthly rent. Covered parking is 60$/mo. Has the fun amentities student housing comes with: pool, gym, coffee bar, etc. Staff is really nice & I haven't had any issues with my apartment.

Location is a 10/10, walking distance to campus, starbucks, and a couple restaurants. Super close to century square which has a bunch of restaurants and some shopping.

37
Cherry StreetNO !CS1yes deposit and monthly feeI currently pay around $1100 (1br/ 1ba) but they are raising the prices for new tenants Pros: It comes furnished, cable and internet are included, parking garage (around $45 monthly). Walking distance from campus. A new company bought the building and everything seems to be going better

Cons: My apartment was infested with fleas when I moved in, and the complex was aware of this issue and that is why it was "cleaned" before I had arrived (carpets, furniture, and mattress were soaking wet). Spoke with the leasing associate in the office about the infestation and was told that since it was a Friday I would have to wait until Monday for the office to do something. The office is not open on weekends but there is a non-emergency number if needed (but, they don't pick up). I stayed in a hotel for 2 weeks because the exterminator was busy and I was not allowed to hire anyone because it would be a violation of my lease, they told me to buy bug bombs from Walmart, and that should solve the issue (it did NOT) 6 months later after their "investigation," they gave me a partial reimbursement.....
38
Northpoint CrossingYesCS1-4Yes and YesLess than $800/month for a 4 bedroom. Prices go up with lesser rooms-Pros: It comes furnished, in-unit washer and dryer; granite counters in both kitchen and bathrooms. All utilities included except electric. Walking distance from engineering quad, and its also on a Bus route that makes it a short walk to the psych building. New management took over which imporved interactions between management and residents. Has ameneities like coffee bar, 2 pools, and covered parking. Walking distance to both Century Square and Northgate. Maintenance responds quickly. -Cons: this complex is huge, so parking in the garages can be annoying. Towing company is predatory so be cognizant of where you park at all times If you are looking for roommates, TAMU has a roomate finder portal where you can create a profile and meet other incoming TAMU students. Met my 3 other roommates this way, and we all get along very well
39
2818 ApartmentsYesCS1-4Yes and YesLess than $700/month for a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom (townhouse) and less than $600/month for a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom (flat). Prices go up with lesser rooms-Pros: It comes furnished, in-unit washer and dryer; granite counters in both kitchen and bathrooms. All utilities are included except electricity. The apartment complex has its own shuttle services from Monday-Friday. Management is good. Has amenities like a coffee bar, 2 pools, study rooms, free printing facilities, a gym, and covered parking. Maintenance responds quickly. A gas station, a few convenience stores, Burger Mojo, and Subway are right in front of the apartment complex.
-Cons: This complex is not on the Texas A&M bus route; however, since it's right next to Holleman crossing apartments, one can take the bus from there (Bus 40; 5-10 mins walk, depending upon the unit location). There are no apartment shuttle services on the weekends. All facilities at the clubhouse, except the pool and gym, are accessible till 6 pm only. It's a bit far from the campus, and students who don't have a car might struggle.

Parkway Apartments (Sister apartment to 2818)YesCS1-4Yes and Yes$775/mo + utilities - Limited special with a 4 BR Townhouse (2 stories) and 1 roommate. Base rate is $750 and an additional $25 (optional) to unlock one of the extra rooms. Price range is dependent on number of rooms, they have anything from 1-4 and different floor plans that add extra space if desired for more money.PROS: Easy transportation. They have a shuttle that runs pretty consistently but can be down for maintenance on occassion. However, whenever it is down there are 2 nearby Aggie Spirit Bus stops at nearby apartments along Holleman that are within a 10-15 minute walking distance, or you can drive and park in the other apartments parking lots temporarily while at class. Amenities. Given it's a sister apartment to 2818 you can use both set of amenities and Parkway is cheaper than 2818. These include 2 pools, 2 small gyms, coffee bars and study rooms at both clubhouses, Basketball court (at 2818), 2 Beach Volleyball courts, and I'm probably forgetting a few. They are also supposed to be adding tanning beds if interested. Good Quality. I visited a few other apartment complexes and both Parkway and 2818 were by far the best that I visited that had lower/reasonable pricing for myself.
CONS: SLOW maintenance. During move in they had us submit maintenance requests for anything that needed fixing. I attempted to follow up a couple of times to no avail and it took MONTHS for them to finally resolve the issues. That said, as it got later in the semester they have seemed to get things done at a more reasonable pace. Construction. Harvey Mitchell Pkwy is a hot mess right now with construction. If your apartment is at the front and near the highway it will probably wake you up and I've even heard them working late at night (2AM or later) on occasion.
41
Gateway at College StationNoCS1-4Yes and Yes$975/mo + utilities (1 bed)
As of 2023, they increase the rent to $1075 for newly signed residents
PROS: Good location and Easy transportation. Bikable distance to the Campus and there is a bus stop (36) right in front of the complex
Cons: The complex is right next to the railroad. So if you are light sleeper, I don't recommend. Their maintanence is moderately resposive but the service isn't great. It's been three month that hot water does not work in shower. You can find better places with this price.
42
BCS Online Real Estate Property Management CompanyYes, however I don't recommend living in the University Park area. A water treatment plan is in that neighborhood, so it tends to smell pretty bad outside.CS & BryanMultiple OptionsDependsVaries from 600s to 1000+ based on specific unitThis property management company has many affordable listings and is a good option of you are okay with living outside of a traditional apartment complex. They have listings for duplexes, quadraplexes, single family homes, and condos. Some of their listings are also on TAMU bus routes. My duplex for example has an A&M bus stop right behind it. The property management company itself is decent to deal with, but they have the usual issues that any complex may have. For the most part, they respond to maintenance requests pretty quickly, but every now and then, someone won't be on top of things. The main con is that they require a 120 day notice for moving out. They will allow you to move out earlier and look for someone to takeover, however, you will be responsible for that lease until someone new moves in up until the end of your lease.https://bcsonlinerealestate.com/rent.html
43
Crescent Pointe ApartmentsYes, however take pictures and video of the unit when you first move in, and document every flaw carefully. They charge heavily for carpet replacement. So, make sure you can prove that any flaw that is there was already there. Try to get a unit that doesn't have carpet in general.CS1-3 with garage optionsyes, not sure how much the deposit iswas 1099 for a 2b 2b when i lived there. It's a good option if you have a roommate. This option is not on any bus routes so you would need to drive to campus. The amenities were decent, but could be better for the price.https://www.crescentpointeapts.com/?_yTrackUser=MjE4MDI4MTIxNiMxNDUwODI4Mzk0-keAHtLAnQKg%253d&_yTrackVisit=MzY2ODE2ODgyNCMyNTM1MDkyMjk%253d-HeJrn9ACkTk%253d&_yTrackReqDT=52471820232803

Flora 4050No - it's a great higher-end and quiet apartment complex, but rent became FAR too expensive ($1250 in summer 2021, now $1633) relative to other complexes nearbyB1-3Yes and Yes$1633 for 2b 2ba, 1185sqftPros: two dog parks on site, car wash, dog washing station, pool, grills, granite countertops, stainless appliances, wood floors, all units have street-level entry, units only stacked 2 high, great maintenance staff, valet trash

Cons: it's just overpriced
