Even though the information in this video was very foundational, I believe it will be very crucial to remember this foundation with each client that I am assisting in their business. To remember that my job is to make their job easier and more profitable. Essentially my job comes down to helping others and caring about their goals and future. I have never really dived into the world of business, so there will be a lot of confusion and ignorance for me, but I think a good start would be learning what the systems are that I can help set businesses up with to better their business. One vision statement for the Vision Project that was mentioned in the video that I thought was really powerful was "...reaching 7 billion people and making a difference in every aspect of their life." I love the outreach mindset that is apart of this company. A very practical action I will take is to make my own vision circle and to really dive deep into what my passions are, and come up with a statement that can be the driving force behind my business and life. One thing that I think will be very individually based with my clients, is learning how to utilize my vision statement to better help others achieve and pursue their vision statement and goals for their business. At first I understood the overall concept, but after reading about Action Vision from the site that you sent me via email, Mark, I am starting to understand the process of setting up and executing an Action Vision Plan. For instance, the different steps being, examination, solutions, and implementations. The whole document was very informative and I learned a lot. Well I know I will end up using the Action Vision Plan when I start having clients of my own, so this is very practical for me. But I definitely need to do anything it takes to fully understand the system so that I know best how to lead my clients through the plan. The next thing I need to do is dig deeper into the different and specific ways I can accomplish each step in the Action Vision Plan and learn and understand more about the 5/30 grid. I learned that each personality type can be spectacular at what they do as long as they are aware of their weakness and strive to overcome those weaknesses. I will be thinking of my weaknesses and strive to overcome those weaknesses, whether by coaching, receiving insight from another personality, or learning how to be more self-aware. What I need to learn next is to identify personalities in others within the first few moments of meeting them. It is and will be important for me to understand what kind of person I am working with in all areas of my life to better know how to understand them and how to better meet them with where they are. I need to learn to be the proactive person and show other people how much I care about them, that I would "go the extra mile" to really understand their thoughts and tendencies. I believe I would benefit from the personality mastery course greatly and in return be a better asset to your company. Understanding how everyone is designed differently could make the difference between a sell or not, a relationship or not, and therefore I would be able to approach the situation in the way that the person thinks and knows how to process information. The quicker you establish that connection, the more likely they are to trust you and give you some of their time. Also I learned that it is essential to plan ahead and have your targets, scripting, goals, etc all planned out the day before your calls. I need to not be so nervous and relax, so that I can have a real conversation with a real person who needs help. If I can get myself to think it is just a conversation, I know my focus will be more on how can I serve them to help them in their challenges. I need to learn how to develop a good script/outline for my potential targets. One that is to the point and will keep me on track, but not one that will make me the sole talker on the phone. A bucket is a group that helps organize leads based on their interest. They will be labeled from 01-10 based on how hot of a lead they are. Their will also be notes on the calls that were made. I am going to connect with my mentor to see more about the buckets. I am going to use the MCAT as I make calls to organize the leads that I find. I learned that when creating a survey, you want to have the mindset of engaging them in conversation and gathering information. I learned that you want to lead with an easy question; you should strive to have around 2 easy/soft questions and then a few deeper/complicated questions. 7 is a good number of questions to have, though you definitely can have more. I learned that the answers to the completed surveys go into a Google spreadsheet. However, this area often makes the most amount of money. Doing pre-sales is hard work, takes strong discipline, and lots and lots of phone calls. The first thing I would focus on while doing pre-sales would be making the phone calls. The second thing would be the quantity of phone calls I make, and then lastly the quality of those phone calls. When I begin doing pre-sales I am going to be disciplined and not quit even though I most likely will not enjoy the phone calls. I learned that one of the most important things about making phone calls and keeping track of the data and that is where Managing Up/Out comes in. At the end of the day, I should reflect on what I learned through the phone calls, things I did well, and things that I need to improve on. I need to also, at the end of the day, set goals for the next day in order to be as effective/efficient as possible. When creating a work order the subject line should consist a number of urgency and what the work order is about. I learned that the work order should be very detail oriented, be thorough. I need to have the mindset of how much traffic this thing will be getting. Make interesting and capturing subject lines. I will be prompt at taking notes and tracking information. I am going to be careful when creating a work order in order to not waste other peoples time and money. I am going to be thorough in the information that I send out in the order. The bad ones discourage me, but they can be easily overcome. I am to care for the people I call, care for their business and their biggest challenge, and I would love to help them in that, but if they are not willing to be helped there is nothing that I can do about it. Through the good calls I learned that even if someone is not necessarily interested, trying to connect with them in some way can leave a large impact as well. They may not be open for one thing but in a little while may be open for something else. I learned that organization is totally necessary, I cannot make as many calls as I want without being totally organized, and I am less stressed when I am organized. I learned most of all, to keep pressing through calls and to try and not get discouraged.I am going to try and connect with the people that I call, so even if they do not want the service I am offering they will be impacted by their conversation with me. I also would really like to work on doing everything to the glory of God, so leaving the people that I call with a Jesus-filled presence.I need to continue to learn more about the system and the different industries that I call on a daily basis. I would also like to learn to do some billable hours that are not calls so that I can break up the calls that I do."No Thank You"  I am good at this time35 minutes
