18
ΔCP,Enh,i,t
Net carbon stock change as a result of forest growth and sequestration during the project in areas projected to be deforested in the baseline2 in stratum i at time t; t CO2-e
19

20
t
1, 2, 3, … t* years elapsed since the start of the REDD project activity
21
22
No deforestation or degradation occurred in the project area during the 2011-12 & 2012-13 monitoring period. Further, parameter ∆𝐶𝑃,𝐸𝑛ℎ,𝑖,2011, is conservatively set to zero.
23
ΔCP,DistPA,i,t is zero as the ex-ante estimation of basline carbon stocks was carried out after the fire which occurred in t2, therefore the CO2 emitted in the fire is not included in the baseline.
24
GHGP-E,i,t is insignificant
25
26
Hence:

ΔCPt2=0

Note:

Net GHG emissions due to leakage over t1 & t2 are assessed using a factor based approach, as required by Module LK-ASP and used in ex-ante calculations of project leakage. Ex-ante assessment of variables underlying the proportional leakage factor, LK CP-ME, is judged to apply equally to leakage over the t1 & t2 monitoring period. Hence leakage over this period is calculated as per the "Leakage" Tab.
