Mel is also the Production Technical Director for Tal’s Theatre Summer Camp at Baylor University and during the pandemic co-created MAB Technical Theatre, which provides online technical theatre curriculum. In it students take a contemporary topic (yes, you can control that) that affects themselves and those around them and create an original interlocking performance piece that looks at the problem from a variety of points of view. The project generally will take from 3 to 4 weeks and can be adapted for students from Theatre 1 to Advanced Acting. I will provide a scope and sequence of the project and all necessary activities.
